Host is a treasure :) what else do you need?
Honestly, we are returning customers. And we will be back probably.
This is our favorite location for relaxing stay on Crete. Peace, quite and 4 perfect beaches in range (Paleochora, Falasarna, Elafonisi, Agio Apostoli - every one in more/less the same distance/time travel). This is perfect match for our need and preferences.
And then near byRotonta Cafe - tavern with delicious fresh meals in very reasonable prices!
No such a thing really.

The best place to feel the real Crete as it was 20 years ago. Just try to imagine the most friendly, helpful,tolerant host, and we received even more! Apartment equipped far far beyond Cretan standards (and we have been visiting Crete since 1998), fully equipped kitchen, everything as described or better. Location is in great rural environment, you are wake up by cackling of chickens, welcomed by local community of friendly cats, sea is in a view range on north side, olives trees are dominating on south sides. Everything surrounded by most beautiful part of Crete mountains. We particularly selected this location just because it was in the same distance from our favorites beaches (Paleochora, Falasarna, Agio Apostoli, Elafonisi - 35-40 min to get to every one of them), but besides that fact we had a best stay ever (best of 9) on Crete!
There was no such a thing!
I just use this space to put some relevant - from my point of view - information to others.
First - do not believe google maps :) too much. When arriving first time, keep to the main road through Kalathenes and look for a clear sign (on the right) to "Margiani House". It is quite uphill and narrow path :) so brace yourselves ;) if you are not used to Cretan roads enough. We made it by VW Caddy Max Long with 7 persons and luggage - so no worries.
Second - for longer cars (like ours) I would advice to enter and exit property EMPTY and keep as much as possible to the RIGHT (when driving in)/LEFT (when driving out). That will ensure smoothness of this operation :)
Third - if you are allergic to cats - you are not able to use outdoor soft sunbeds. You can imagine ;) why.
Fourth - Apartment has 3 levels - and the top one is about 2:10 high - if you are that or similar tall - you will find it a problem to use it comfortably.
