Peaceful, secluded mountain location next to an idealic stream with mini 'beach' access for paddling (weather permitting). Modern interior with good size rooms and decent bathrooms. Food served onsite (helpful, as there is nothing within walking distance), good wifi, fairly quiet room (although you do hear other guests if they are noisy). Friendly staff, beautiful, well-maintained grounds.
Booking.com had charged my card upfront for the stay, but the hotel manager insisted that they don't pre-charge and that I had to pay before I left. So I ended up paying twice. It was resolved later that day after contacting Booking.com customer service, but shouldn't really have happened in the first place. Separately, as mentioned, the hotel is located away from everything else. This is a plus for seclusion, but the meal is set, and although tasty, was pretty basic and probably not something I'd want to eat multiple nights in a row.

We like the place it was a school from 1939 then converted to boutique hotel the family are nice u feel home we like the river at the back we enjoyed our stay
