Casa Donna Rosa B&B

This was our first night in Costa Rica, and it was just a well deserved soft landing. The room was big, clean and you could see they thought of every small detail. Breakfast was super good, and the view. Oh the view. Highly recommended! The pictures don’t do justice to this magical place. If you are in Nuevo Arenal - this is your place to stay. Amazing value for money.

Carlos is amazing, a very friendly and professional host. We absolutely loved staying at his place, just the kind of authentic stay we were looking for !

Hosts so friendly and helpful. Clearly take immense pride in their B&B. Nothing was too much trouble. Both loved creating unusual and imaginative breakfasts - every morning was a pleasant surprise.

I spent one night at this B&B with my American Coon Hound, Bonnie. I must say that the B&B is spotless throughout. It is well furnished and very tastefully decorated. Bonnie and I stayed in the Doggie Suite. The spacious room room was very well furnished and decorated. The room is equipped with a large refrigerator that contains a mini bar of craft beer at $6.00 a pop. I must say the room was exceptionally quiet and I had a great sleep in my very comfortable bed. When the gents who run the B&B saw Bonnie , they were a little taken aback by her size but she quickly won them over. Be advised they run a tight ship and will brook no nonsense. It is they who must be obeyed. (Rumpole Of The Baily Fans Take Note). Breakfast consisted of two fried eggs on a portobello mushroom topped by a delicious sauce.

There might have wine in the mini bar. They only have one doggie suite, call in advance to avoid disappointment.
