The hotel is conveniently located near the bus station, with good connections to Port Louis. The metro station is also about 500 meters from the hotel. The central market of Quatre Bornes is within walking distance, approximately 500 meters away, and prices there are generally much lower than at the central market in Port Louis.
We stayed in Room 5, which was spacious and equipped with air conditioning and a small refrigerator. However, some of the furniture was damaged, and the room faced the main street, where heavy traffic and noise started as early as 5:30 a.m.
Breakfast was included in the room rate and was very good, with a nice variety of options. The hotel also offers a laundry service at a very reasonable price and has both a washing machine and a dryer.

The reception desk is not staffed 24 hours a day, which was sometimes inconvenient, especially when we needed assistance. The hotel does not have an elevator, and the stairways to the rooms are narrow and quite difficult to climb.
The television did not work during our entire stay, which was disappointing because we like to keep up with international news. The hotel owner was very attentive and helpful, although his English was sometimes difficult to understand.
The air conditioner was installed directly above the bed, which left us with sore throats and coughing. In addition, not all of the electrical outlets were working, making it difficult to charge our phones and other electronic devices.
Another issue was the shower area, where water tended to collect and remain stagnant after use, causing an unpleasant smell in the bathroom.
We were given keys to access the hotel through a ground-floor entrance. However, this door was required to remain locked at all times. In the event of a fire, this appeared to be the hotel's only exit, which raised concerns about safety. We felt that this emergency exit arrangement could pose a real risk in an emergency situation, and this concerned us throughout our stay.

The location is good and within proximity of Quatre Bornes centre with 10 to 15 mins walk to the metro station. There are some nice chinese restaurants around. There is also a restaurant within the compound which is very good. The breakfast was quite good and the staff was very friendly. As we had to leave early for Ebene, they were ready to prepare the breakfast at 7.15a.m instead of 7.30a.m. The room size is quite good and comfortable. There's also a small fridge in the room which was well appreciated.The rooms are cleaned every two days.
The stairway is a bit narrow and not easy to go up and down with the suitcase if there's no one around to help. There's not enough towel rail to hang the towels.

The owner of helloguest house was kind enough to plan my move to another hotel as he was doing refurbishment at helloguest house.
I did not like the lack of comfort in the room of first floor not to my expectation ,as it was going to be refurbished .
