About this house rental
Located in Princeville, this lovely house for $869 per night is a great choice for your next break. Your own private tropical pool and jacuzzi! Hale Ohana is open concept home with an expansive living room, dining room, and kitchen with breakfast bar that are to be enjoyed. Ceiling fans and Hawaiian louvered windows in every room allow you to enjoy the cool trade winds. Granite counters and stainless steel appliances welcome you. The kitchen has everything you need including a Keurig coffee maker and conventional coffee maker, so you can enjoy local Hawaiian coffee. Hale Ohana is gorgeous. It is a 4 bed/4 bath with 3 bedrooms having en suite bathrooms offering you plenty of privacy when traveling with family and friends. 2 bedrooms are masters with walk in closets. There is a separate shower and Jacuzzi tub in the main master bath located upstairs. All the showers are made of gorgeous natural rock. Our home is child friendly. After all the time you have spent planing your vacation, you want a house that lives up to its expectations. Well this is it. When we chose to make our Hawaiian home a vacation rental, we made customer satisfaction our highest priority and our reviews reflect that. There is a lot of attention to detail, so you can relax and enjoy the island lifestyle. Our home has a tropical pool with a large lanai offering stamped concrete, carved wood posts, stainless steel BBQ and ceiling fans with great sitting area for entertaining and barbecuing. The bamboo outdoor shower is very private if you prefer taking a shower outdoors or just rinsing off after a day at the beach. We have plenty of gear for the beach. It is a short walk to Anini beach and 5 minutes to restaurants, bars, and shopping. There is a North Shore shuttle bus that will take you to Hanalei and all the north shore beaches. Of course you can drive 5 minutes to famous Hanalei Bay beach where you can back your car right onto the sand; having your cooler and chairs ready to go! We are next to two amazing golf courses. The renowned Makai Golf course is placed in the top 100 in the nation. The Prince course is rated #1 by Golf magazine 2012 and #22 of the greatest courses in the nation. If you have little ones (as we do) Prince Albert park is a short walk. It offers a great play area for all ages. You can play ping pong, foosball, and darts at the house. I f you are looking for less than 4 nights feel free to email me, and I may be able to make an exception. Note that the outdoor pool and driveway have security cameras for property protection.

This is a fantastic place for families to stay. Lots of things for babies and toddlers. Just wish there was AC but that’s common on the island. Loved it!

It's the second time we have stayed at this house.
Two bedrooms are on the ground floor which is helpful for older people or those with disabilities: Comfortable, clean and within easy access to beaches, walks, shops and for those that play golf a shot away.
The host is helpful and responds immediately.

This house lives up to the photos on the listing, in a beautiful location close to Hanalei and great beaches, with many great amenities for families. Comes stock with beach gear, pool toys, ping pong and foosball. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay in Princeville. The house was the perfect size for our family trip to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary. The pool was warm and a great gathering place for all ages. The kitchen was large and had all we needed. We never ate out because we could cook and BBQ at the house, which was nice when we were a group of 10. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed going for morning runs. The upstairs rooms and the downstairs room by the game room got hot on a few afternoons/evenings but there were fans and since we could cool off in the pool, it was fine. I really appreciated that there was a nice blow-up mattress too so children could sleep in the same room, and we enjoyed the nice selection of games. All in all, it was wonderful and we would love to come back and stay again.

Family of 8 looking for relaxation and found it at this lovely property in Princeville. Rare find with a backyard pool/hot tub/waterfall that made for a delightful getaway in this upscale neighborhood. Quick 2-min drive to grocery and take-out. Beach close by. Downstairs bathroom needs attention/updating as there was evidence of some leakage between water tank and stool of the toilet. Checkout procedure was unclear bc times sent via text from owner differed from times on app and published in materials in home. Housekeeper arrived about 10 min after she expected us to be gone and was unhappy. Otherwise everything was beautiful, furnishings were amazing, linens plentiful, no mechanical issues or problems whatsoever! Just a bunch of Roosters crowing at all hours! If you’ve ever been to Kauai…you know!!

We rented this house for a family trip and it was perfect! The house had everything we needed, the pool was awesome and it’s a great location. Easy access to many different restaurants, shops and beaches - we even walked to the grocery store. The house was clean and the check-in/check-out process was super easy. Definitely recommend!!

this placed is amazing.!! very spacious, open with lots of natural light. it felt so comfortable like coming home. we had our adult children and their spouses , we had plenty of room to relax and enjoy. great location to the north shore activities, hiking along the NaPali coastline as well as a little beginner surfing and boogie boarding. Brandi is a terrific host and was so quick to respond to all our questions and concerns. I would definitely recommend this home !!

This property has it all. Everything was immaculate. The house had everything you needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, even a rice cooker. The pool, spa and waterfall were gorgeous, the location is very convenient to restaurants and beaches. I would definitely recommend this anyone looking to stay in Kauai.

There were eight adults (4 couples) and there was plenty of room for us all to gather. The pool and jacuzzi were awesome after a day out at the beach or tour. Well stocked and super nice location. Walkable to a grocery store and nice location to the evening sunset. Our children are grown but it was obviously set up well for families with younger children as well. We all commented on that. Short drive to a couple of beaches. Loved it!

The house was clean and well stocked with all the things you would need for an ocean destination. communication with Brandi was easy and responses were quick. There is no A/C but with the windows open it was pleasant. The two downstairs bedrooms are in the front of the house so keeping the windows open and curtains open lacks a little privacy- but not a huge deal.
Pool and hot tub are awesome and the backyard is just a cool place to chill. Including the 2 sided covered porch which was really enjoyable for listening to rain fall.

With our children and grandchildren we had a wonderful stay at this property. We enjoyed the proximity to multiple great beaches and also loved being at "home" and enjoying the pool and hot tub. The house was very well equipped with kitchen ware, towels, toys, beach stuff, and games.
Our only complaint is that certain goods were not well stocked, like paper products, dish soap, and laundry soap. This is a very high end property and we were surprised there was not a sufficient supply of such items.
Overall we had a wonderful stay and everyone in the family thought the house was ideal.

The house is very comfortable and well designed. Not over furnished, but we'll stocked with beach supplies and everything needed to have fun. I have several bad experiences with vacation rentals, but Hale Ohana is exactly as advertised. The house is every bit as nice as the photos if not better!
There was an unforeseen issue with a bee hive in the backyard, but Brandy was quick to take care of it.

This was a blissful experience - house is lovely and the pool is amazing. My kids (6 and under) couldn’t get enough of the pool. Also the well stocked sand toys and beach chairs were much appreciated! Also there was no air conditioning but we didn’t need it - the plentiful fans cooled things down enough.

Our family loved the heated pool and hot tub. Fantastic location within walking distance of Foodland. House was very clean and nicer than it looked in photos. Four good bedrooms each with its own bathroom. Kitchen was nicely set up for cooking. Owner was responsive, friendly, and helpful. The best vacation rental I’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommended.

Great house for a crew!
What a gorgeous place! We had a wonderful stay - the house is well stocked with everything you would need for a great stay and is in a great location.. We ate in more because the kitchen made it so easy to cook for ourselves and we all wanted to soak up more pool and hot tub time!! Highly recommend!

Great home in Princeville
The house is beautiful and in a great location in Princeville. Backyard pool and spa is heavenly. Communication with owner was almost immediately. The kitchen has all things needed to cook or bake. Only real complaint t is the fourth bedroom. The fourth bedroom is really a mud room turned into bedroom. Not much space or ventilation since this home is not air conditioned The only way into garage from inside the house is thru the fourth bedroom. One of the bathrooms had an old urine smell like maybe it’s in the grout or caulk. Notified homeowner since they may not have been aware. Otherwise we loved our stay and would stay again

Excellent location to explore the north shore of Kauai! House is spacious enough to accommodate several families, the pool was the kid’s favorite place. Princeville shops with a small supermarket and fun little shops (including a hot yoga place) are a short walk away. Also queens bath is super close!
