Very friendly staff, room very clean and spacious, and literally next to the beach.
No individual light for each bed... annoying when roomates want to sleep but it is still early...

This one of the best guest houses I have ever been to. The owner/manager is very kind, helpful and he provides valuable information/recommendation (s) that make your trip worthy.
Breakfast could be improved. Alongwith bread and egg, sandwiches would be great. This will also add little variation.
It would be nice if they can provide basic food for dinner. For foreigners it is not easy to manage the food available there. Very basic korean food will serve the purpose.

Clean. Friendly staffs. Short walk to Samcheok beach. Room with beach view. Comfort, spacious room. There is floor heater so the room is warm and cozy. The hot water comes out quickly from the tap (no need to wait long), the shower water pressure is strong. The shampoo smells really good. There are games and books provided at the first floor bookshelf. There are beautiful and cute artworks at different corners of the building. One can enjoy some discount for the surfing lesson, rental and other beach activities. Would love to visit here again during summer.
There are a lot of seafood restaurants surrounding the guesthouse.
If you wanna go to Maengbang beach, can take a taxi would cost about 16000KRW. Deokbongsan right next to Maengbang beach is a short hike, the view from the peak is splendid. There are buses but the interval is long, can call the bus company to check (phone number listed on the bus information at any bus stop; or can check at the bus terminal).
There’re Isabu Road and Chuam within walkable distance.
There are frequent buses to Donghae and Mukho, but need to walk about 20 mins to the bus stop.
Samcheok is really beautiful and healing.

The breakfast was just bread and boiled eggs. Juice. I expected more but that's my issue.
Also I think the price was too high knowing that you get pmaces for 40K to 50K won.
But the Owner is a lovely guy willing to help you and its kind of a great place by the Sea.
