Clean and comfortable room + helpful staff made my stay here an A+

Comfortable rooms. Nice pool. Friendly and helpful staff. Bicycle rental a plus.

Would have been nice to have a few items available for breakfast in the room (bread, a few eggs, etc).

Excellent value accomodation in a central location with shops and restaurants close by.

The location is excellent - just 15 mins walk from 't Vat... which is the centre of Paramaribo night life. Our family of four made Max' Pool & Garden the base for our holiday in Suriname, checking in and out on four different ooccassions over a two week period. We experienced three different accomodation types - 2x 2 bed apartments, just beside the pool; a beautiful 3 bed first floor apartment with amazing balcony space in villa opposite the main building and a ground floor 3 bed villa (accomodates 9 people - ideally for families with young children) again with outdoor space and best bathroom facilities. Our favourite was the first floor apartment because of the amazing balcony which was so cool in the heat of the day. All accomodation had fully equipped kitchens and there was constant hot water in the bathrooms. We were able to have our clothes laundered during our stay and the hospitality shown by Erwin and Kamela was superior.
