Great location but not value for money.

Excellent location

It did not have an air conditioned room and the staff weren’t contactable over the phone when we arrived or wanted to check out. The staff also weren’t seen at the property but always arrived later. So it could have been quite the wait if neighbours didn’t inform the staff. Given that the room was very basic and didn’t have air con either wouldn’t say it was value for money.

Great location, right on the beach with small pool.

I had a lovely stay at Asiri. I was travelling alone and felt very welcome. The place is simple had everything I needed for a short stay with reasonable access to Galle Fort. The location is excellent right on the beach with a great reggae bar and restaurant a few doors down and other cafes further down the beach. The beach was lovely, very quiet and lovely to go for morning walks.

Great location, price and service

I've stayed her twice, both in larger double room and smaller single. Its great value, really lovely family and super close to the beach while still being quiet

The fan in single room a bit warm - but otherwise I am a big fan. Same doesnt apply to larger rooms

Fajne miejsce!

Bardzo czysto, przemili właściciele. Bardzo fajna otwarta łazienka. 2 min od surferskiej plaży blisko sklepików i knajpek. Bardzo fajnie było pogłaskać oswojoną wiewiórkę.

Basic room for a short stay on a low budget

1. Great location - very close to the beach 2. Really good price for a private room with private bathroom in Hiriketiya 3. Liked the brushed concrete style of the room 4. Friendly hosts let us leave our bags on check out day and looked after them

1. Bit stuffy in the room when you first go to sleep. There is a fan but it gets very hot 2. Very basic - no soap in toilet, nowhere to put clothes or store anything so have to put things on floor 3. Breakfast very poor - would recommend going elsewhere even though it’s included (it’s an attempt at western style but badly done - undercooked eggs - they should do Sri Lankan breakfast) 4. The room is partly open to the world which means you can hear everything outside, including the very loud and persistent howling dogs of Hiriketiya 5. Bathroom also open air which means you will be sharing it with bugs and lizards 6. WiFi didn’t work well

Super. Żałujemy że nie wybraliśmy tego miejsca na dłuższy pobyt

Świetna lokalizacja, 30 sekund od plaży. Wygodne łóżko, i w miarę chłodno w nocy porównując do innych miejsc bez klimatyzacji.

W łazience nie ma okna. Nam się to podobało jednak dla kogoś kto boi się spotkać jaszczurkę w łazience może być to problem.

Personnel adorable, emplacement idéal.

La situation était parfaite à deux pas de la plage. Le petit jardin verdoyant est un plaisir pour les yeux

Tout était parfait mise à part que les persiennes ajourées ont laissé passer un petit animal très gentil mais qui nous a empêché de dormir car il grignotait le chocolat laissé dans mon sac sur la table de nuit…

Great basic accomodation in Hirriketiya

Everything you need in Hirriketiya. Perfect location right on the beach. Room was basic but you're not there to hang out in your room, your there for the beach. Bit noisy with construction nearby but not the accomodations fault. Jungle Cafe next door had great food, and massage place next door was great. Would recommend if staying in Hirriketiya

Bathroom was a bit smelly and attached to next doors bathroom, bit weird being so close.

Simple but clean and in line with price

Location great! Very close to the beach! Staffa very kind Breakfast different every day

Although the trim was very simple it is in line with the price you pay but some shelfs to put your clothes would had been helpful since a parta from the bedroom and a table there was nothing else.

fabulous near beach accommodation

stunning location 3 minutes walk to a beautiful beach and set right in the jungle , monkeys plentiful, quiet location, excellent value for money would definitely return

Die Außendusche war sehr angenehm. Das Bett war gut.

Bonito pero mejorable.

Muy buena ubicación, a 10 segundos de la playa. Sencillo y bonito. Si volvier a Hiriketiya repetiría. Buena relación habitación-precio. Algo para mejorar sería dar la opción al menos de toallas de playa.

Las lamas de las paredes no se pueden cerrar, siempre entra el viento, bichitos y el ruido de fuera y de dentro. Nada que unos tapones de oidos no solucionen, pero da poca intimidad. Por otro lado, únicamente te dejan unas telas encima de la cama para taparte por la noche, y se pasa algo de frio, sobretodo si diluvia por la noche. Desayuno muy regular, recomendaria no seleccionar desayuno y desayunar en muchos de los sitios que ofrece la zona.

Simple bedroom for a quick stay

Owner was friendly and nice Location is amazing The Owner allowed a late check-out and stored our items as long as we wanted.

No amenities at all. No hairdryer You have a space between the rooftop and the ceiling. A lot of mosquitos go inside. Also, you have a grill Next to the window without any protection which enables them to "visit" you. (If you can have a look at the pictures I Uploaded you may understand). It should be fixed because we spent 30 mins trying to Kill all the mosquitos we could.

Perfect verblijf, super goeie locatie en hele lieve eigenaren.

Mooie plek tussen het groen, fijne kamers en een super lief welkom door de eigenaren. De eigenaren zijn super zorgzaam kwamen elke ochtend met liefde ontbijt brengen.

Eigenlijk was alles prima en heb ik niks te benoemen wat echt tegen viel. Met een paar kleine simpele aanpassingen kan de badkamer denk ik nog een stukje mooier gemaakt worden.

Great host, great location. Would highly recommend

The host was lovely. Room was clean, shower was semi-open so you felt like you were in the forest! I thought it was lovely. Location wise, you’re about a 1-minute walk from Hiriketiya Beach which is ideal.

I struggled with the Wi-Fi (but I think this is the case at a lot of places)

באמצע היער. מקום לא סימפתי בלילה. אין קיר בחדר-יש תריסי עץ פתוחים. המקלחת היא מקלחת חוץ וגם בה אין קיר ויש רשת נגד יונים. מלא חרקים נכנסים לתוך החדר. לא נעים להיות בחדר ובטח לא לישון בו. לא ממליצה

La propriétaire hyper sympathique, proximité de la mer, la propreté, douche chaude, belle chambre :)

C'est vrai qu'il y avait une odeur d'humidité dans la chambre, mais nous y étions en pleine saison des pluies...

Amazing location but no sleep

Amazing location, 2 minute walk to the beach.

A lot of stray dogs around, who were barking durung the night and it was impossible to sleep. One dog got into the property, it was barking right at our doorstep and we couldn't get rid of it. Monkeys came early in the mornig and made mess. The owners have trashcans outside of the room and that's what the monkeys want.

Service was beyond excellent. Very friendly helpful staff. Made us feel at home. Some water bottles in the room would've been very useful, however the hosts personally gave transport to the shop for us to get beverages. Overall fantastic service

Really nice stay

Lovely place. A jungle experience really close to the beach, short 2 minute walk away. Can see lots of cute monkeys in the trees nearby, especially in the morning when they smell your breakfast! The owner was a very lovely and helpful woman. The room was really clean and had a nice area outside to sit at each room.

The breakfast was lovely but just a bit small compared to most places. The bathrooms are completely open at the top rather than having windows, which was fine but just to be aware :)

Perfect stay in Hiriketiya

The appartement is located next to the beach, but in a very quiet position, overlooking the beautiful garden. The owner was extremely friendly and made a great breakfast. We absolutely loved it here. Highly recommended when you visit Hiriketiya Bay!

Amazing stay

I absolutely loved my stay in Gold Ocean. The location is just perfect, so close to the beach. The room is basic but with everything I needed and I loved my outdoor bathroom with the plants coming from the jungle. Each room also has an outdoor seating area which is great to relax in the afternoon. All for very reasonable price. Thank you so much for a super nice stay, a warm welcome and all the breakfasts. If I'm back in Hiri, I'd definitely stay there again!
