This apartment is a real gem for so many reasons!
1. The hosts are lovely people, very welcoming and attentive. They live in the house next door and it was nice to chat sometimes, get tips, etc. We felt really good there and will come back for sure!!
2. The view is unbelievable! It overlooks a huge valley with a whole line of Dolomites’ peaks as a backdrop. And the sun sets right in front of your balcony with this view! Plus, to the left, there’s two massive mountain peaks very close, on your face! From inside the apartment you already feel immersed in the imposing Dolomites.
3. The location is so convenient. Only 5 min of a stunning drive down to Siusi with supermarket, bakery etc (I did it early morning to the bakery just to enjoy the drive with a view!). Plus, from the apartment you can start gorgeous walks up to Alpi di Siusi with beautiful views (without having to drive). Both easy and hard walks, you can choose. Or, take the lift up and/or down from Siusi (which you can even walk to if you want, we did - or take the bus). Further, many places to explore/walk just a short drive away. We personally found this side of the Dolomites (around Siusi/Ortisei) way prettier and more impressive than the other side around Cortina D’Ampezzo.
4. The apartment is beautiful, very comfortable (floor heating!), clean and with all you need. The property has a big trampoline my teenagers loved. There’s some very cute chickens walking around, and some other animals. You are immersed in the way of living of the locals. It’s so quiet and peaceful and at the same time so conveniently close to everything.

The views were incredible. The apartment is clean and comfy and are cute animals around
Only small thing, since this is the county side, there are quite a few bugs around, so be careful with leaving windows open

Een heerlijk appartement met prachtige uitzichten en een fijn terrasje. De plaats is gemoedelijk en met de auto ben je vanuit hier heel snel op enkele highlights van de Dolomieten. Naar onze smaak hadden betere kussens, een salontafel en een streamingsdienst het helemaal afgemaakt.
