A warm welcome awaits you at The Lookout. As you walk through the front door, the first thing you see is that panoramic view. Spotlessly clean, the light and ambience of the house engulfs you. You've made it, your holiday has started, it is time to make yourselves at home, relax and enjoy. The House: A stylish and beautifully presented town-house, superbly positioned with fantastic views of the sea across St Ives Bay to Godrevy Lighthouse and the North cliffs beyond. Location: Fantastic location with beaches, shops, restaurants and galleries all within a 5-15 minute walk. Porthminster Beach being 5 minutes downhill, while Porthmeor Beach, on the other side of St Ives, is more like 15 minutes if you go straight there and are not side tracked by all the lovely views, shops and restaurants! The House Inside: Remodelled in 2022 for your comfort and enjoyment, with a light, airy feel. The Lookout is spacious, cosy, comfortable and well equipped. The House Outside: There is parking for 2 cars which is a huge bonus in St Ives, while at the front of the house there is a good sized garden with beautiful views for relaxing and al fresco dining. Home from Home: The Lookout is not just a holiday let but a home that we want to share. We hope that you enjoy it as much as we do.

A great spot that is very close to town, but secluded enough to have your own privacy. The view is georgous and Rosie has clearly thought through the whole living space. The place feels lived in, it didn't feel like another holiday home, but a place you want to spend time in.

Rosie contacted me everyday with updates, she was very helpful. The house is very luxurious and very clean. We had a lovely time, the weather was hot everyday and the beaches are beautiful the views are breathtaking.

We stayed here with my teenage children and parents. The house is spotlessly clean and has everything you should wish for. The views from every floor are stunning!
The large outside space at the rear of the house is perfect with the addition of a small veranda which was needed with the typical English weather we had!
All 3 bathrooms were fitted with lovely powerful showers and quality fittings. The new kitchen has everything you need and has a stunning views!
We absolutely loved the house and were sad to leave after 10 nights despite not having the best of weather for summer!
It was a 10 minute downhill walk to Porthminster beach which great, a little longer on the way back as there are a quite a few steps or you can do a longer less steep route back! Likewise a 10 minute walk to the harbour which has delightful restaurants, bars and shops. We booked a few restaurants in advance but were also able to walk into others.
Communication from the owners Rosie and Simon, was excellent as was the welcome pack, we were also allowed an early check in which was very much appreciated after a very early start!
10/10 we all loved the house, thank you for sharing it!

This place was great! It was clean and spacious with a great view. The walk to town was only 10 minutes and 5 to the beach. It was the perfect place not only to explore St. Ives, but all of Cornwall.

A very nice week at the lookout. We’ll equipped kitchen with a great deck and views! Short walk to town and Portminster beach. Definitely, eat at the cafe there at the beach, great food! St Ives beautiful town and good location for touring the southern part of Cornwall.

Such a beautiful house, it was very comfortable and well equipped. The views were stunning and location was great, close to the beach, couldn't have asked for better.The host Rosie was so helpful with all the info on the house and with things to do, our stay went very smoothly. Definitely will be back for another stay.

We loved every moment in The Lookout! We came to hike and swim after a wonderful weekend in Oxford and found the perfect home thanks to the fantastic hospitality of Rosie and Simon! We cooked fresh fish every evening (as the kitchen is so well equipped) and relaxed in the comfort and beauty both inside and outside this retreat! We all slept so well in the comfortable beds. The welcoming pack contained delicious treats and inspired our ecological interests! Thank you, Rosie!

The Lookout is a beautiful house, stylishly decorated and furnished to a very high standard. The sea view is breath taking from all three floors of the house. We felt extremely comfortable here. Rosie is a wonderful host, keeping in touch and ensuring that we were happy and that all was okay. If you enjoy golden sandy beaches, wonderful walks and lovely restaurants within walking distance, you will love staying at The Lookout! Thank you again!

Great house, great location
What a great place to stay in St. Ives. The house was excellent and you could see a lot of thought had gone into the refurbishment. Great views from every room and superbly well equipped, with everything you would ever need. A lovely welcome pack upon arrival, including a hand written greeting card. A lovely touch.
Rosie was a great host, always on hand if needed.
Wouldn't hesitate to go back and also recommend it to anyone else visiting St. Ives

Lovely short stay.
We stayed at the Lookout for 5 nights and found the accommodation perfect for us. Everything you could possibly need is provided by Rosie and Simon.
The accommodation itself is modern and comfortable.
Rosie briefly contacted us to make sure everything was ok (which it was ) and was always on hand if needed.
I would 100% recommend the Lookout to families wanting to stay in St Ives.

Superb place in St Ives. Amazing communication from start to finish with Rosie the owner. Loved the welcome basket and thought the stamped postcard and welcome pack were a lovely touch. Very well equipped and great location. Would not hesitate to come back again. Thanks again

I wish I lived here!
What a great house! Bright, clean, well-decorated, comfortable, and a lovely view. What's not to love? The owner, Rosie, responded to every one of my messages with lightening speed and she's a delight. There was a basket full of handy items for us to use, like tea, coffee, soap, cookies, etc. Plus milk and wine in the frig. We felt so welcome. We didn't bring a car and we walked into town or down to Porthminster Beach every day. Yes, as others have noted it is a steep walk on the way back, We also enjoyed sunning on the back deck. We spent 4 nights there and enjoyed exploring St. Ives. I have never seen a town with so many folks strolling with their dogs. It was a treat to see them all. We just had a wonderful time and highly recommend St. Ives and this beautiful home.

Amazing house!
Rosie’s house is so stunning! The view is amazing! The house is immaculate! It has everything you need for a good holiday. It’s very close to the town and beaches, all walking distance. I couldn’t find a fault. My friends and I enjoyed our one week stay here and we wish we could have stayed longer. Rosie is a very kind and helpful host, so easy to communicate with. Many thanks Rosie. We will surely come back!

Wonderful Place to stay in St Ives
Rosies & Simons house has a fantastic view and is in a great location to the centre. With the added bonus of parking.
A short walk down the hill and you're on the beach in one direction or into the centre the other.
We had a fantastic stay and the house had everything we needed.

Great Stay
Easy access to the property which we specifically picked due to the availability of parking at the property, parking in/ driving thru St Ives is not always easy!
Property was clean, well presented and had everything we could want. Fresh bread and welcome pack was a lovely touch.
St Ives is very hilly so one evening after a day of lovely coastal walks we caught the park and ride bus up the hill to Trenwith Car Park the house is a few minutes walk (level/ downhill) to save our legs for the next day's explorations.
Beautiful beaches in walking distance as is the train station.
