Cooinda - Apollo Bay
About this house rental
Nestled in Apollo Bay, this attractive house for $244 per night is a great choice for your next break. Cooinda is a lovely three level beach house, close to the water, only 200 metres to the beach and 700 metres to the Apollo Bay shopping strip with a number of quality restaurants. It is a spacious four bedroom house that can sleep up to ten people. The sleeping arrangements are: Main Bedroom - Queen Bed with attached full en-suite on level one Second Bedroom - Queen Bed at level two Third Bedroom - Two single beds at level two Fourth Bedroom - Two set of bunks on level one You need to supply all of your own linen, e.g. sheets, towels and tea towels. Pillows, doonas, blankets are supplied. There is a large outside deck on level three with filtered views of the water and fantastic views to Marriners Lookout. We had a lovely stay, the location was perfect and the hosts so kind and friendly. We were able to walk to the beach and into town for dinner. The photos don’t do the house justice, it was just lovely and comfortable. We would definitely love to stay again.

I stayed at Fred’s property with my family and absolutely loved the stay. There was nothing I could fault about the accommodation. We were lucky weather wise too and loved every moment spent there. Just one suggestion if at all, a clothes dryer and internet is always a plus point to have. More than happy to go back. The garden just amazing.

Wonderful house for a group of friends. House is in a great quiet position with a short walk to town, set in lovely gardens.
Great verandahs at back and front of house with limited view of the sea.
The house is spotless and well set up with everything you need including great kitchen facilities and equipment.
Easy communication with the owner Fred and provides detailed information.
Our second time to the house and hope to return.

House was spacious, clean, well appointed, everything you need supplied, comfortable bedding. Nice glimpses of the sea from the balcony. The only reason we didn’t give 5 stars was no WiFi as 3 of the guests were from OS they relied on WiFi for their communication. Weather was changeable and on the hot nights fans in the bedrooms would have been appreciated. But overall a lovely house very affordable and we would recommend a holiday there as easy access to all the highlights of the Gr8 Ocean Rd. Thank you!

We stayed here with 4 adults and 3 kids. The setup was perfect for us. Having the 2 balconies and the back yard was great. Definitely would return and stay again.
Only room for improvement would be to add a lock to the shared bathroom

My husband and I and our 2 boys stayed in this gorgeous house for 4 nights over the school holidays. We had the most wonderful time and just loved Cooinda house. It was just perfect for us, close to the beach, great set up with everything you need and just a really nice feel to the house. Bev and Fred were very helpful and made our stay one we wont forget. We will definitely be coming back to this gorgeous beach house with such beautiful gardens and great views.

The location was good we could see view for ocean at the front and at back the mountains: beach just across the road out the front,. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and we enjoyed the loungeroom, kids loved the fireplace.. We look forward to coming back in the future. It was short walk to shops and restaurant..

We had a great weekend at Cooinda with our family and friends. We were 4 adults and 4 kids and our stay was very comfortable as the house is spacious! The fireplace in the open plan kitchen/ living area is amazing and the kids loved the backyard. We had lunch at the fisherman’s co-op (can recommend the seafood platter and lobster) followed by amazing ice cream at Dooley’s! Can also highly recommend the bush walk to Shelley’s beach. Our kids enjoyed swing koalas and it wasn’t to strainious even for the 5-year olds. Can highly recommend Cooinda and the host Fred was amazing to deal with.
