Thomas, the manager - host was extremely helpful. He responded to our messages quickly and booked a water taxi for us which we greatly appreciated !
The location was perfect. Every day you can look out the window and watch the gondolas float by . It’s also a short 5-8 minute walk to the vaporetto Boat stops at Rialto or San Marco .
There are many nice cafe’s and restaurants all around the square … just steps away from the apartment .
Bed was very comfortable.
Beautiful hard wood floors . Lots of full length mirrors . Netflix on the TV .
Wonderful ambiance . A/C was excellent . Easy apartment access with door code. . Peaceful and quiet, perfect temperature !
These can easily be corrected by the management :
Kitchen :
1- no new clean sponges, only dirty old ones under the sink . I bought some .
2- Only one trash bag ( for a 9 night stay ! ) we also had to buy a roll of trash bags, no paper towels .
3- no coffee maker or coffee ..Only a 1 cup espresso pot that looks like it has seen better days. They could at least have a larger 2 cup pot if we have to only make espresso . I had to make 1 cup at a time and try not to get burned making the second one .
4- no instructions on the electric stove . If you don’t live in Europe , you’ll have to study you tube videos to figure out how to turn it off and on. Sounds silly that we couldn’t figure out the stove … but how hard it is to have a book of instructions like other apartments have ?
Restroom :
Only 2 rolls of toilet paper for a 9 night stay .
No hooks to hang towels . ( we had to buy some!)
Only one trash bag . Weak blow dryer .
Living room :
No extra upholstered accent chair to sit on other than couch ( only dining chairs from the table )
No ottoman / foot rest. So 2 people can sit on the couch but no way to elevate feet other than using chairs from the dining room.
Closets : odd collection of old , mixed hangars. . I bought some for 5 euros at the local store to hang my clothes .

It’s a lovely Venetian apartment with great views of the canals and in an amazing location, perfect for exploring Venice.
There were two issues with the apartment, it wasn’t the cleanest, superficially it looked clean on arrival but the rug had definitely not been hoovered and the kitchen had layers of dust on various surfaces etc. we weren’t initially overly bothered as we dealt with it ourselves when we arrived (there’s a hoover in the cupboard) There appears to be the expectation that you will clean the kitchen yourselves when you leave the apartment so the level of cleanliness you walk into depends on the previous occupant? We also realised immediately that the aircon was not working on the Monday we arrived so reported it to Simon through Wattsapp, due to an Italian holiday on the Tuesday maintenance weren’t able to visit until the Wednesday and it was fixed on the Thursday, the day before we left. We will say that when it was working (we had it Thursday evening) the aircon was great so that would have made a huge difference to our experience if it was working from our initial arrival. Simon did give us a partial refund to compensate but to have had the aircon from the beginning would have been preferable.

Konumu olarak heryere yakın olması çok iyi ev evet tarihi dokusu ve tarzı güzeldi
Temizlik açısından benim için çok kötüydü venediğe 3.gidişim ve en hijyensiz olanı bence burası,klima nın kumandasına ve yatak odasındaki havalandırmaya dokunamadık bile :(( son olarak konaklamayı düşünen misafirlere lütfen dış ana kapının açılması için bir yönlendirme yok dışarıdan birisi binaya giriş yapması gerekiyor ki bizde girebilelim , Simon bey ile iletişime gectığımızde sürekli nasıl giriş yapılacağı sokak resimlerini atıyor ana kapının anahtarı evin içerisindeyken biz dış ana kapıyı nasıl açabiliriz giriş yapmadan bu durum çok sinir bozucuydu, sivrısinekleri unutmayalım klimaları açmadığımız camları açtığımızda çok zorlandık
