This is a great heritage style property with a very nice family running the operation.

This place is a gem, I loved the uniqueness of it. This is a family home that was built a long time ago and has history.
The owners have renovated the property at great expense to make it very comfortable for guests.
I particularly like the courtyard, it was quiet and very relaxing. I've never particularly liked the corporate style hotels even when they have more facilities, so this place was a real breath of fresh air.
Not really anything, it won't have a great selection of breakfast or evening meal options due to it being a small family place, but even then the food was great.

Madhav Bagh is a Haveli style house with a beautiful inner courtyard, where you can forget you are in a large city as traffic noise is subdued and bird song is more noticeable. The rooms are beautifully spacious with ample changing space and sensational bathrooms. The breakfast is made to order and varies day by day. With only four rooms available to guests this is more of a homestay where you get to meet the hosts and learn about the history of the family.
The hosts do have 3 dogs which they do keep separate from the guests but this does limit use of the garden space especially the private gated spaces off the rooms. One of our nights was disturbed by howling dogs from the near by society (block of flats).
