Whitewillows is comfortable and convenient in a great location. It's a semi detached unit next to the main house. Easy access and parking, clean and quiet, great for two persons. Perfect host (Lisa) lives in the house . Lisa runs a busy family and alsoa very small distillery, free samples provided! It's about 3 miles west of Helston and just off the A394, you literally just turn off the road and you're there. Entry via the front door, (keysafe to the left) into a small lounge area (two seater sofa, smart tv, coffee table). Good sized double bedroom (wardrobe, bedside tables, lamps) straight ahead with a well equipped kitchen/diner (oven, hob, kettle, toaster, fridge, (no microwave)) to the left, bathroom (electric shower (good pressure), sink and loo) just off the kitchen/diner. It's not in Praa Sands but you can access the beach (1.25km) and the SW Coastal Path via a footpath right outside. Praa sands is a long beach with all the facilities at the far end. It can also be dangerous when a surf is running so check with the lifeguards (present summer only). The location is fantastic, easy access to The Lizard, Penzance, Helston, Falmouth and Truro. The North Coast is also not that far away. Great walking with a network of footpaths both inland and along the coast. Breague Church has some wonderful frescoes.
Small step dividing the lounge form the kitchen but you get used to it. Access is pretty good with no stairs

Lovely little property with everything you need. Comfortable bed.
Was a little more out of the way than we thought walking back in the dark along the main road after getting off the bus - make sure you have a torch.

The property was clean and tidy, the hosts were very friendly and helpful, towels were provided and the welcome gift of two miniature bottles of alcohol was a very nice surprise.
The storage facilities in the kitchen were insufficient as was the bedroom. The kitchen is very basic but doesn’t have a microwave. We couldn’t find any instruction manual for the cooker. The fridge was too small and the freezer space was just an ice box. Whilst we were told about the step between the kitchen and lounge area it wasn’t clearly visible or marked with hazard tape so blended in. We could hear music from the house attached and when my husband was in the bathroom he could hear people talking. All of these things we would have tolerated for the weekend but unfortunately because of a medical issue my husband has the height of the bed and the bedside table next to it resulted in his breathing pipe becoming trapped between the mattress and the bed so we had to leave after one night.
