It's a very unusual and fancy experience, you live almost on the railway station, see trains and passengers closely from your window. The room decor has it's own idea, implemented with close attention to the details. Overall cleanness is on top. The room is warm and well noise-isolated. Besides the bed in the form of a wooden boat, with a convenient matress inside, there is a wardrobe and a table. Everything is stylish. Walls and curtains bear the same pattern from an artist's pictures. There are mirrors at the opposite walls, so that you get into an endless corridor of reflections. And, we liked the 'starring sky' over our heads. Breakfast is ok for those who's ready to spend 15 minutes walking in the morning to the restaurant. And, the host offered free admission to the aqua park and 2-hour trip on a boat, both offers enhanced our stay excellently!
It would be perfect if pillows would be more convenient and denser; I personally woke up with severe headache due to this. The chairs were a bit wobbly, we were not brave enough to use them. And, it was not quite convenient to sit on the bed without back support.

Historisches Hotel im Bahnhofsgebäude, besonders gestaltete moderne Zimmer, sehr gemütlich, schön groß, hat alles was man braucht. Die Lage ist perfekt, zur Fuß nur 10 Minuten vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, direkt am Bahnhof, trotzdem sehr ruhig. Können es herzlichst empfehlen.

Absolut außergewöhnlich! Im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes. Das jetzige Zimmer ("Lieblingsplatz des Schlangenkönigs") war wieder ein künstlerisches Highlight. Man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Ich muss unbedingt mal alle Zimmer ausprobieren, allerdings nur die mit eigenem Badezimmer. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, ruhig, gemütlich und die Badezimmer modern und auch hier mit Spreewaldmotiven ausgestattet. Personal kompetent und freundlich.
Danke für alles.
Zum Bahnhof sind die Zimmer etwas lauter als zur Straßenseite. Ich würde empfehlen Frühstück optional anzubieten.

The location is the main advantage for the people travelling by public transport. The hotel is easy to reach, the sound isolation is good enough to block the noise from the train tracks, located right behind the window. Hotel provided one pair of one-use earplugs for the whole stay.
Price is low compared to the other places in the area.
Wifi was working well.
There is literally nobody there for you. Arriving later than 2 pm on Friday, i had to pick my key at the restaurant nearby. And i had to rush because it closes rather early. On Saturday nobody was there aswell, and the emergency phone, stated on the entrance door, was sending directly to the voice mail. And the only way to meet someone to pay and return the key was to wait until 9 am on Sunday. That means if you lock yourself out of have a drunk neighbour singing songs in the hallway middle of the night (happened to me on Friday), there will be nobody to help.
Only on my last morning i found out that there was a small kitchen with tea, coffee and fridge at the opposite end of the corridor.
I like contactless ways of handling things, but not when it is so poorly organised. Breakfast venue is also located somewhere else, can't say anything about it because it was only available from 8.
My room was eery, decorated with photos of creepy girls in white dresses in a forest, wall by bed covered with dirty handprints.
