About this house rental
Located in Cape Charles, this lovely house for $490 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. We are so excited to share our long awaited dream home in the beautiful town of Cape Charles. We named our home 'The Lighthouse Inn'. We are located two blocks from the beach and one block over from the town where you will find restaurants, shopping, the library, homemade ice cream etc. This newly renovated 2800 sq ft home offers 4 bedrooms 4 1/2 bathrooms, living room, family room, dining area, kitchen and garage. First floor offers a master suite with a queen size bed and a full bathroom with a shower. A living room with a couch and two lazy boy chairs. Next you have the family room with a large leather sectional and a 60 inch flat screen T.V. You also have a 1/2 bath with a washer and dryer off of the family room. The Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to feel right at home. The kitchen also has an extended bar top with 3 stools for extra seating. The dining area flows right off of the kitchen and has a large table that will seat 10. Off of the dining area is a glass sliding door leading to the deck in the backyard. The yard is fully fenced and offers a new gas grill, a new 5ft smoker/charcoal grill, 2 picnic tables and a patio table. Towards the rear of the yard is the garage where you will find the ping pong table, foosball table, dart board, corn hole boards, bikes, beach chairs, beach toys, kayak, etc. There is also ample parking in front of the garage. The second level has 3 bedrooms a master suite with a king bed, a full bathroom with a separate shower stall and a jetted tub. Bedroom number two upstairs has a full size bed, and a bunk bed with a twin over a full and a full size bathroom. Bedroom number 3 upstairs has two bunk beds, both with a twin over a full and a full size bathroom with a tub/.shower. After a long day at the beach or just some relaxing time please enjoy one of the four rockers on the front porch!

This house is great for groups; so many beds. Christine's house is beautiful, clean, well-appointed, comfortable, etc. Unfortunately, the local golf course, Bay Creek, has gone private and it is more difficult to make a tee time. We had our last outing the past 2 days and will probably look elsewhere for our 6th annual trip. We will miss The Lighthouse; I can't say enough good things about it! We will miss you Christine!

This was our first visit to Cape Charles and we will definitely be back! The house was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The owners were wonderful and responsive. The back deck really added to our relaxation. We had everything we needed and loved the proximity to the beach.

We so enjoyed our stay at The Lighthouse Inn. It was just the right fit for our family, and each bedroom having a bathroom was nice. The kitchen was well stocked with anything and everything you might need. The location was amazing with quick access to the beach and restaurants. The bicycles, kayak and pink pong table were extra treats. What fun!!! We hope to return next year!!!

Great family friendly property. Loved having the fenced in yard for keeping kids contained. Nicely shaded for the hottest of days. Each bedroom has an attached bathroom which is a huge bonus for us.

We ABSOLUTELY LOVED our stay at The Lighthouse. The home was even better than the photos, along with the back yard and garage which my granddaughter named the Fun House!
Christine was wonderful to work with and we hope to rent here again next year!

Great for a group of friends/kids
This house has everything! The location is perfect. We loved the backyard and garage with all the beach amenities. We rented Christine’s golf cart to get around town. So easy and fun for the adults and kids. We really appreciated having a bathroom in each bedroom and the downstairs was very spacious and open. We can’t wait to come back!

Great location and house for a weekend stay!
We had a wonderful time staying in Cape Charles. The house was located both near town and the beach. We rented a golf cart and loved being able to zip from the house to town to the beach to the playground at the park. The house is cute and the beds are super comfortable. Christine was a great host!

Terrific Home For our Biking Team!
A group of six of us, regular visitors to the area but now living across the length of the East Coast, arrived at the Lighthouse Inn on a Friday and stayed through Sunday. We had a terrific time and the house was exactly as advertised -- actually better!! It was perfect for us -- with very large spaces and lots of terrific updates to every space. In addition, Christine placed everything possible in the house that we might need. Although we did not have any children with us, the accommodations and the little extras throughout the house are perfect for a range of kids age groups.
The house has a very large kitchen and dining area, as well as spacious outside space, including an assortment of grills which we used for our Saturday meal. The bedrooms are very large -- and beautiful -- especially the main bedroom on the second floor Larger than some apartments). There are many extras available, including a golf cart for rent.
The house was very clean and nice towels and bedding were provided.
We found Christine to be very accommodating and easy to reach -- quick to respond. We had a couple of special requests and she took care of us!!!
Two blocks from the beach -- as well as the many stores, restaurants, and coffee shops that Cape Charles offers -- a perfect location!!!!

This house was well equipped and very clean when we arrived. Owner was fairly responsive via text to initial difficulties with getting into the property using the lock box code. We enjoyed Cape Charles and would definitely consider staying at the Lighthouse again.

4th Annual Cape 8 Golf Outing
I cannot say enough about this property; it is perfect for 8 women. We had warm weather for the first time and were able to utilize the beautiful outdoor area. It is walking distance to the beach and shopping and just a 5 minute drive to Bay Creek. From the decorations, sheets, towels, etc. everything is always perfect. Christine is easy to reach and respond. Love The Lighthouse!

We absolutely LOVED staying at the Lighthouse Inn. The location was perfect, just 1 block behind the main stretch, the room setup gave each of our guests plenty of personal space (especially with 4.5 bathrooms), and the amenities were amazing too. This is the cleanest house we’ve ever rented and every inch of the property was filled with beach house / rustic charm that made this weekend visit a breath of fresh air. Christine was so welcoming — and the golf cart is a must-do rental to cruise around town. 5 stars, for sure!
