Our host is a warm and sincere host. We enjoyed the included breakfast (Asian style) and the traditional dinner (additional fee applies). You can also make an embossed leather key chain in their workshop (+$), just need to ask.
Soundproofing between rooms - we could hear our neighbours and likely vice versa but they were very considerate. There is no TV but there is good WiFi.

Really nice location in the middle of tea fields, close to a nice café (200 m).
The host picked us up at the bus stop (make sure you arrive during check-in hours! She is a one-woman business and takes care of the rooms before), and also dropped us there the next morning to get on the bus to Alishan.
Rooms are spacious and very clean. The sound of birds is spectacular.
Buffet-style dinner is served at 6 for 350 and is among the meals I enjoyed most so far in Taiwan - some grilled meat, very good tofu, rice, soup and 3-5 different vegetable dishes and stir-frys. I felt nourished and very well taken care of. Thank you!
If other guests are noisy light-sleepers might benefit from earplugs - the wooden walls are not soundproof.

It’s very cosy and clean. Miss Qiu has been super nice and kind to answer our inquiries.
The entire property is beautifully crafted as you can see and feel it from every single corner.

Unique room style
No heating in the room, host was pushy (even knocking at our door a few minutes before we had to be at breakfast), cold shower water, not good quality breakfast
