Hotel Talavera

Great place right in the middle of town.

The television in the room was small

A little bit outdated but with a very good location, in the center of Talavera and quite near the old town, with the plus of having a garage with direct access to the hotel (extra but fair cost). So if you're traveling across Spain, it's a good option for staying overnight on your way near Madrid. Staff at arrival was very helpful and pointed us where to go to find a late option for eating, which was easy as the hotel is within a walking distance to the old town, with plenty of options around.

As mentioned, rooms were a little bit outdated, although quite well for a short staying 'on the move' when passing Madrid. Also a little bit too strict on the breakfast time, we arrived late the night before so we arrived for breakfast (already payed) precisely at 10:00 (closing time), we were allowed to get in the room but they were already taking everything out of the room and we had to rush and literally grab a few things while we could, which was not nice for just a few minutes. Anyway, it is what it is and sometimes rules are applied strictly, which we understand.

there wasn’t any privacy in the shower,windows surrounding every corner of it and no hangers for towels.I had to hang my hands towel on the door handle
