Free breakfast, clean property, comfy room. Staff was as responsive as they could be most of the time.
Sometimes the front desk felt understaffed. Our room was on the second floor, so our view was not that nice and we had paid for a view so that was disappointing.

Friendly and professional staff that’s fluent in English. Pristine reception area. Excellent location in the heart of Copacabana with awesome views and in close proximity to the beach, market and shopping malls. Seamless tour bookings.
You have to pay for using an iron in your room. Rooms are small. No coffee/ tea in the rooms. Breakfast was disappointing.

The location
The room was not clean. My towels and sheets all had stains on them, mould in the shower, dust on the floor etc.
My friend staying in another room had a very bad experience with support from reception, where a bulb fell out of the ceiling light in the bathroom, almost hitting her and shattering on the floor. It took them over 3 hours to send someone to clean up the broken glass, despite multiple requests, and by the time they did send someone, the cleaning staff had left for the day so they sent someone else who did not properly clean up the glass. My friend had to get the broom and clean it up herself, which is unacceptable in a hotel advertising itself as 4 stars.
The sofas and chairs in the lobby were also dirty and stained.
