Excellent location, sustainability
The room was not clean (the carpet was not completely vacuum cleaned).
One light was not working.
The room was clearly overheated (great - if you like it but we did not, and consumes a lot of energy). And the heater controller was not much help.
The drain smell was awful and drains kept noise when used in other places of the hotel.
Parking hall was full 'from system' but not even close. No system to book place or queue electric car charging.
With all this and extra 14€ breakfast charge and parking lot charge, overpriced.

The lovely welcome ftom the receptionist on duty. We got a lovely room on the 3rd floor which a view on the river.
Floors have been renovated and each floor has a small kitchen for quests to use. Plates, cups and cutlery to use. Microwave and a fridge. Really handy if you travelled far and like to have a snack.
The room was nice and clean as aways. Rooms have had a refit and are fresh and clean and a calm atmosphere. Lincoln and bedding crisp and clean. Beds are great! Good mattress and toppers. Bathroom has a good shower. Toilet and washbasin and a towel rail heater. Hairdryer, kettle, stoneware mugs. Towels nice and soft.
Groun floor has a nice area where guests can take complimentary coffee.
We felt that the room temperature (radiators) was nice and comfortable during day but at night returning from a meal outside the corridors were nice and warm but the room temperature was much cooler than before. Suppose the radiators are turned down at night? But it was not too bad. Had a good sleep though.
Breakfast
We purchased breakfast as we have been doing each time we stay at the Green Star. Normally ok to good. But this time the scrambled eggs, sausages, porridge were all cold.
There's always good selection of smoothies, mixed berries in yoghurt.....unfortunately not for those who are allergic to strawberries as those are mixed in.

Good size room but the furniture looks tired, especially the chairs. Shame as the rest of the hotel.has had a beautiful refit in the rooms and corridors.

Clean and rooms were spacious
Beds were not top quality, but did ok for the price. Toilet/bathroom was similar what they have on cruise ships, but again, served the purpose and for the price it was ok.
Minus points from the noise insulation, you could hear noises from other rooms pretty easy and clearly.
