The location served well the purpose of my visit.
The room was very large - larger than I expected - and well equipped.
The breakfast was very good, with a careful selection of delicious food. It combined cold cuts with breakfast specialities, salads, warm dishes, pastries and selected Power Shot juices.
Staff has been very helpful - if one needs a taxi, I recommend asking the receptionist. The hotel seems to have a direct line ensuring very prompt service.
I would have designed the bathroom a bit larger to accommodate the sink - it feels weird to step into the bathroom as you step into the room.
The shower door sealing needed some attention, especially when the bathroom does not have a floor drainage and the room cleaning is done every 3-rd day.
The room facing the main road tends to get noisy throughout the day and late into the night due to intense traffic.
The toilet seat is undersized.
500Eur per night is overpriced for this hotel value. A 500Eur would rather fit an all-inclusive 5-star hotel in Caribbeans.

The hotel is perfectly located in the middle of Hamburg and close to the most vibrant areas. The room was nice, comfortable and clean. The hotel personnel was outstanding, and the breakfast was excellent. Price/quality was also superb - although it was late July (so not really high-tourist season for Hamburg).
There was some loud noise from the surroundings in the middle of the night - nothing that one cannot live with, though.

The bed was comfortable, the location was great, staff were nice.
The doors slam very loudly to close, which shakes the room. The bathroom was not very clean and the shower leaked. The elevator had issues.
