it was very close to the train station.

the rooms had very thin walls, the cleaners would start cleaning very early which caused a lot of disturbances

nothing I liked about it

the room was unbelievably small. there is no reception and no people to help you when you arrive with your bags. Only a phone number and a sticker in German language. totally confusing and extremely expensive for what it offers.

Clean & nice place in a nice area, close to UHH

I was at a conference at UHH, so the location was great. The room is not big and is not fancy, but it's super-clean and it was a great value. The area is actually quite nice, with two restaurants literally next door (one on each side). U-bahn line U1 is like across the street -- and it's a direct link to downtown. (Although I walked to the city hall, so that works too.) My room was on the European 1st floor (2nd floor US) faced back, and had a 10m^2 balcony.

Three things: 1. WiFi kept asking me to re-login like 3-4 times per hour. I think that's just unacceptable, either for business or for entertainment. Tip: let people log in *once*, give them a week, and forget about them. 2. A mini fridge would be nice. 3. I checked in on Sunday night, and used the machine outdoors. It was quick, and worked just fine. But before arriving, I was a bit apprehensive if my US credit card would be accepted (they let the AI make decisions if the transaction is legit, and it has a non-zero false positive rate). Also, the instructions that I received were all in German -- I had to use google translate to understand what they wanted me to do. This is not a show-stopper, but it is slightly annoying nevertheless.

I only stayed one night, it was the only place in Hamburg on Himmelfahrt under 200 eur a night, so I cannot say anything bad. Hotel was OK, small rooms, but this is what you get if you are only passing thru.

Very basic, clean and comfortable. Very noisy.

Very clean room, comfortable bed, perfect location in a nice area of Hamburg. Room size was a bit small but it was good enough (particularly if you're only there to sleep). Great for short term visits not involving work.

Other guests were extremely noisy, walls aren't thick so they woke me up a 4-5 times during the night. Very easy to slam the door, so that happened constantly. Did not sleep well at all. WiFi service was appalling, could not even watch a Youtube video at 144p.

A clean, simple friendly hotel close to a good selection of local amenities

The location of this hotel was very convenient for us because it was close to where friends lived. It has an excellent choice of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets all conveniently within a few minutes walk. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the hotel owner very friendly and helpful.

The room sizes are very small with limited storage. initially our room faced a very busy noisy main road. The room was very hot but it was too noisy to open the window so we were sleep deprived for the first three nights. The hotel kindly changed our room to one facing the back for the remainder of our stay and this was much better but still very warm. Bottles of water and wine are offerred to purchase but it would have been nice to have a kettle and a fridge to make hot drinks in the room.

Nice and cozy place convenient between airport & downtown near all important facilities

The area around the hotel is nice and very convenient next to a metro station. Due to Covid, the check-in was 100% digital which worked out good. Also no breakfast was served but a bakery opposite of the street replaced this perfectly.

I had a room on top floor which got rather hot on a 30C warm day. No AC but you could open the window which I really appreciate (actually prefer window for AC)
