A good stay overall, but the lift needs updating
Overall, we had a good and comfortable stay at the Mercure Parkhotel Mönchengladbach. The hotel is located a little outside the city centre, but we were aware of this when booking, so it was not a problem for us. It was easy to reach by car, and parking was conveniently accessible nearby.
The hotel’s facilities were satisfactory, and the breakfast offered a decent selection. Some parts of the property gave the impression that improvements or renovation work may not yet have been fully completed.
The main issue was the lift, which is clearly quite old and definitely needs to be replaced or fully modernised. We hope that updating it is included in the hotel’s future plans.
Apart from this, the hotel was perfectly fine and our overall experience was good.

Great location for town. Modern clean room and bathroom. Good AC. Helpful staff. Good WiFi.

Check in / check out staff were fantastic.
The rude and blunt bar man who listened into conversations and then made comments to your face. He was rude and inconsiderate to our son. Not a nice man and it reflects bad as all the other staff were perfect.
