Full service and what I expect. Felt like a 5 star. Well appointed, lovely decor, excellent resuraunt. Family suite was perfect. Staff, with one exception at spa reception, was superb. Spa was wonderful. Within walking distance of everything. Just lovely. Parking was also great.
There was nothing negative. I would reccomend making it more conveniant to book spa amenities and services online of through front desk staff. We were there 3 days & tried several times to book masaages without a response from spa staff other than that she would get back to us which she did not. It was ok, we had a lovely stay regardless but someone else.might get upset.

We had a superior double room on 6th floor with an amazing view over the port. The staff was so professional, kind and competent, especially those at the breakfast service. While variety for breakfast was not huge, everything was delicious and never in short supply. The room was not too big, but just enough for a couple's short stay, with a safe, bathrobes and free mini bar (with an extra bottle of water in the room). Bathroom with shower so neat! I'd love to visit again the city and stay in this hotel. Make sure you have a look at the weather before you go. It seems there is very often (really strong!) wind and rain.
If I would have to note a drawback that would be the TV channels. If you don't speak German, your options are BBC World News and Bloomberg. Though few channels offered the possibility to change language, it was not working properly (suggesting: German or German, German or French which actually was still in German language).

Property and staff were great. The restaurant is quite good but overpriced.
The reason for the low rating was the lack of AC. I stayed there on two consecutive trips in two weeks and I asked about the AC and they said the issue was being fixed and it would be fixed the next day. It was never fixed. On my second stay I specifically asked for a room with working AC. Again, NO AC. Very expensive property and they should have working AC since it is listed on the hotel amenities. It would not have been an issue except there was unusually hot weather during my stays.
