It is not a fancy place, and looks a little shabby, but it is excellent value for the money.
As I wrote above, it is not at all fancy, but I am willing to sacrifice that for a great price.

I have stayed here before. It's a bit run down but the room are large, reasonably comfortable, and certainly well located. And the price, for Madrid, is very good.
I wish there was maid service on weekends. But I deliberately opt for value over fancy.

The bathroom was refurbished. And definitely the location, the location is absolutely amazing and few mins walking from the Goya metro station, la puerta de Alcalá and el Parque el Retiro.
For the price we were paying the property is very uncomfortable, the beds sound a lot when you move.
To get the remote control for the Air Conditioner, you need to leave a deposit of 20€ no one said that in advance.
I requested a hairdryer, it took 2 days to get an answer and when they brought it to the apartment, it was broken, in conclusion I couldn’t use it.
