The view of the sea is breathtaking. It feels like the rooms are built into the mountain and they definitely are built down a cliff. There are 300 stairs.
I didn't know I had to have cash for the shuttle from Riomaggiore up to Borgo di Campi and the one ATM in town was in a closed shop. My daughter and I had to walk 2 km up hundreds of old, uneven steps with our phone flashlight and then another 3 km along a mountain road.

The amazing view, closeness to Riomaggiore.
The old toilet seat could get repaced, hard beds. Onsuite is off the bedroom, so if you are with four people, people have to go through the bedroom to use the bathroom.

The views are incredible, definitely the best selling point - Perfect place to chill and very peaceful.
The ants and other bugs and insects in the room were a little bit annoying. Some walls need a fresh coat of paint.
This is not hotel’s fault but there was no phone signal in the room, only on the main road above - but the hotel WiFi is not bad.
Also not hotel’s fault but the bus is not really a bus, it’s a small minivan that goes around and stops by the hotel - better to have a car otherwise you are stuck.
