The place was quite good and location really good too with convenient parking. Most things were as described and very clean. Host was kind enough to let us check in 2 hours early when we arrived. Thank you
1. The description says there’s a fireplace but we were told it’s not functional on arrival
2. We were quite cold in the evening so I messaged the host asking if the heating could be turned on, she replied the next morning saying she didn’t see the message and it’s always better to knock on her door instead (she lives next door) and she asked if we still need it on. I said we were out but would let her know in the evening if we’d like it turned on. In the evening, we got back and the place was cold so I politely asked her to turn on the heating for just a few hours, she declined. She said it’s still summer months and it’s really warm so I will not turn on the heating (it had gone down to 9° and this was September, not summer months) even though she told me that I should knock on her door and ask her if we needed it.
3. Upon check out, she came to inspect the house and was very adamant that we had left the kitchen “really filthy” and that she would never leave a place in this condition. I’ve stayed in multiple guest accommodations and know the standard of cleanliness that is expected from guests - we had gone above & beyond to wipe counter tops, wash dishes, and not leave any mess. She complained about the floor being slightly dirty and said she expected us to have wiped the floor clean. The floor wasn’t even dirty and when I told her that this is just normal use as we were there for 3 days, she said “I would have wiped it everytime I saw dirt”. She was too worried about having to pay a cleaning charge but is that not standard after a guest checks out?

Nice location, closer to center with parking place.
The owner had kept complimentary products on arrival. Half of these were expired and having pungent smell.
The owner of the property was not flexible with the departure time which is unpleasant. There was long list of no to Do’s upon arrival, best to keep a list rather than bothering tourist over and over again.
The owner can be generous and kind hearted to tourist. No one is staying for free.
