It is possible to go in late at night when the front desk is unstaffed if one calls confirming the reservation, they share the access code. This flexibility is immeasurable and it helps a lot to manage times when delays can be unavoidable.
The breakfast is nice and tasty, but I would like some fresh fruit option. The location is really nice for walking around.
The elevator could be a bit faulty or simply can't carry many people at once. When I used it only me or with my luggage, it worked well. I could hear the person on the next room watching TV when I was about to fall asleep. It is not a big problem for me, but it could be an issue for someone else.

The location is perfect, I had a room in the top floor and the views were nice, on intermediate floors I guess it will not be the same experience.
The bathroom was renovated and quite new.
The bed and mattress were not very comfortable. I had back pain after 2 days.
There is a funny smell in the lobby, not bad, pero bizarre.

The hotel was well located in a nice building, within easy reach of Paris with bus and train. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Room was comfortable, clean and well heated. There was a problem with the room lock that was attended to promptly.
There was a leaking basin. A problem with the plug. Someone came to resolve the issue quickly and efficiently but it happened again the next night. I was told not to unscrew it which I never did. It seemed to be an ongoing issue which really needs fixing. Hopefully by time next guests arrive it will have been repaired.
