Situated in Adaminaby, this lovely house for $226 per night is a great option for your next trip. Enjoy the best that the "Snowy Mountains" has to offer with superb year round trout fishing on Lake Eucumbene. Tackle a trout on your own, or enjoy a fishing charter with Lake Eucumbene Fishing Charters (refer to web page for more info). Or fish the surrounding rivers and streams in the open season. Aanglers Mark also offers a great winter escape with skiing at Selwyn Snowfields which is an easy 35-40 minute drive (depending on road conditions). Aanglers Mark will provide you with warm, comfortable accommodation for your stay with 2 master bedrooms each containing a queen size bed, and 2 bedrooms each containing 2 single beds all with electric blankets, doonas and pillows. The house features an open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area with spectacular views over Lake Eucumbene and a large outdoor area over looking the lake with a gas BBQ and firepit. The lounge area has TV/DVD, and stereo or you can just relax in the comfy lounge by the cosy wood fire. All you need to bring is your sheets, pillowslips and towels. Ample parking area, washing machine, dryer.

Thank you for the stay. This place was immaculate and as promised, had everything you need to stay if you have all your food sorted. The general stores are near with excellent breakfast and lunch options. Perfect place to have a quiet me time.

The Lake Eucumbene fishing base.

The Lake Eucumbene fishing base.

This home can accommodate 8 sleeping so the two of us used bedrooms and bathrooms quite far apart from each other. What luxury. The view is excellent. The Kangaroos and rabbits very friendly. The fish were not so accommodating on this trip but then ... the fish are always a bonus in this wonderful Australian setting.

Very nice place

Very nice place, clean and tidy and close enough to the ski fields. If you travelling from the north (which I was) be aware that there is a 40min stretch of dirt road, unless you drive down to Cooma and then back up. For me, in my vehicle, it travelled both routes and I would recommend going to Cooma first then driving to anglers reach from there, it was faster for me. There were some sections on the dirt road that were very rough so I avoided it on the way back. The fireplace is the main source of heating and while it does an awesome job if your sitting close enough it struggles to heat the entire house, even with the cieling fan running on low. Having said that, it's obviously a lot warmer inside than it is outside, it's just not to the point where you can walk bare feet around the place. Maybe I'm a softy though :)

We were very impressed with the house overall!!! The layout is perfect, view spectacular, fireplace amazing and cosy. Even enjoyed a few games of pool, we all enjoyed our stay so much that we will be booking our next snow holiday here again sometime!!! We highly recommend this house!!!

This is the second time we chosen this accommodation. It is spacious, beautifully furnished, the kitchen has everything you need for cooking, if this is what you decide to do. The house has beautiful view on Lake Eucumbene, we did walk around and took pictures of kangaroos. Given the great snow season this year, the children were able to ski and snowboarding right behind the house. The pool table is a great entertaining feature. We are in love with this house and will come back again next year.!!

First time to see snow

First time to see snow

This was our first time to the area and for our family first time to the snow. We had decided to visit Mt Selwyn as we wanted just an intro to the snow to see if the kids were keen. This property was just 40 minutes to Mt Selwyn. We enjoyed the drive just as much as Mt Selwyn. It wasn’t snowing so we didn’t have to worry about chains at all. It was a great spot just got snow play and fun. The house was even bigger than we imagined. The lake view just amazing. The fireplace very much needed in June. Lots of wood supplied ready to go. The fire was even on when we arrived. Kids loved learning to play pool. Kitchen very well equipped. Thank goodness for the property notes to stop and get supplies at Cooma. If you do this then you won’t have a problem as you can’t duck out and grab milk etc. We were very happy with our stay and our first snow experience.

May brother and I really enjoyed the wide open spaces of Aanglers Mark. The view over the lake is a brilliant motivator to arise early next morning to get after the trout. We DID catch a feed!

Thankyou for sharing your beautiful home with us. We thoroughly enjoyed soaking in the views from both the outdoor patio as well as from the dining room. The kitchen was beautifully equipped and the beds were very comfortable. Appreciated the water wise signs around the home too as a gentle reminder. The only very very minor critique would be the pool table cue was unusable in disrepair. Booking was easy and all instructions and info provided were helpful and accurate. Thanks again

Our Stay was amazing, The house is spacious but so peaceful. We had amazing views of the lake. and on our final day we had 15cm of fresh snow fall. a memorable family snow trip. Will be booking again for our next snow adventure.

I've stayed at this property a few times. It's really great. The kitchen has every thing you need. The house is big and has everything you need. Last time vicky left out a fishing magazine, just a nice touch. Pool table is a hit. I use the property to go fishing, great base for this or walking around. There is renovation work ongoing and that's only going to make the property better in the future. Love the fire place, which is handy when it gets cold. Overall it's a well presented offering, where the owners should be congratulated. I appreciate it. Just one warning, mobile doesn't work, I think Telstra works a little, but virgin mobile doesn't work at the property, but it doesn't work in adaminaby except in a few isolated spots. But not having internet or mobile makes the break even more special. Mobile reception, or lack of, is what I'm looking for so I can relax. Adrian

Had a lovely overnight stay. Very peaceful location. House is being beautifully upgraded. Summer heat made it very hot inside and the ceiling fan was not particularly effective, and the Septic tank was a bit too whiffy to allow windows to be open for long. We didn't find the outdoor space to be particularly comfortable on a hot weekend.
