Okay - ish

Room size was as promised, clean, comfortable bed. Wifi worked fine. Staff kind. There was a fridge (most simple student dorm type of fridge) in the room that doubled as a mini bar, but only had 3 lemonades in there. At this point it was confusing if it's complimentary or extra. It turned out to be extra. Location is good, walkable both to the beach and the more central area.

Had to leave early, so asked for a breakfast to go. Although I got the breakfast, unfortunately the only thing I could have from it was the coffee and a tangerine, as the cheese had gone sour (didn't even try the ham at this point). Some pictures are heavily edited or very old as they don't represent the current state. While the room was OK, the pool area on the roof hasn't seen a fresh coat of paint in years. Feels over priced for the area for what it offered.

Central but the service is not good at all.

In the heart of Miraflores and near to Larcomar.

We asked for Sandwiches instead of breakfast but they just forgot. The service in the breakfast room is super slow and not reliable.

Good staff and good location.

The staff was ok. I liked the air conditioning. The pool is samall but good. Good location.

The shower wasn't good. Water pressure not good. The pillows very small and hard.

Not a last-minute deal.

close to touristy places in Miraflores, they stored my luggage after checkout, breakfast was included.

Outdated, strong humid smell in the room, had to ask for a different room, stains in bed sheets, corrosion in almost every metal surface, paper thin walls, no real pool and the jacuzzi was closed. I checked Airbnb and there were other better options around the same price point.

Horrible experience. I called the hotel many times asking about my stuff stolen and nobody give me a answer. it happens on Dec 29.2022.

Good for overnight/ short stay and simplicity.

Nice and helpful stuff members. I had an early tour and girl at front desk offered that they can prepare some breakfast to go, which I appreciate it ( at 5 AM). Also another girl who worked night shifts gave me small tips about tour I was going to ( so don’t forget your bug stray) and sunglasses. Location is amazing, short walk till coastline and center of Miraflores.

As other reviews stay, it’s a bit older then it seems in pictures. And seems like walls are really thin as I heard people coughing, talking, TV from other rooms ( but earplugs helped).

Disappointing

First nigth the room was really cold, 2 the breakfast was poor. I prefer the buffet,on Sunday only one person served the breakfast, and I have to wait for long time. The need to improve better services.

Nice hotel in a good spot in Miraflores

Great location, short walk to Parque Kennedy or beach. Room was cleaned well, no complaints about cleanliness. All staff were incredibly friendly. Gym facilities (limited and not we did not use personally but still nice it’s there). Breakfast was made fresh everyday and was delicious.

Not a lot of variety in the breakfast, tv didn’t work when we first arrived and not a lot of channels/no capability for Netflix/cast from phone

Just the location, they seem to be kind but take time to solve issues.

The location

They have issues with facilities, the bedroom had issues with hot water. And the hotel resolve the issue after 2 days, we had to use coldwater and took shower in another room, they didn't fix inmediatly the issue. Besides, the continental breakfast....only coffee with bread, I've had better option in low cost hostas that includes at least yogurt and cereal.

Pleasant

The location is great, and the breakfast was good and complete. The personnel was kind.

The room was SO COLD, like freezing cold. There was an A/C and we tried to turn it on so at least was a bit warmer, it never worked, I went down to the front desk 4 times to get different remotes, and none of the worked. The pillows were very hard and thick, they were not comfortable, my friend even preferred to sleep without it. And the shower was never hot, it wasn't cold like the room, but it never reached a hot temperature.

I would not stay there again. plenty of places to stay in this area at similar price. look elsewhere

The best thing about this hotel is its location (Vs price ). The breakfast and service were also quite good. The room was I think more than adequate. My room had no view ( could see the roof of some building ) but was very comfortable.

This hotel is quite tired and worn. However, the biggest negative for me was the lady at the reception when I checked in and she also happened to be there when I checked out. They way she spoke to me gave me the distinct impression that either she was a racist or that I wasn't really welcome there. During check-in she insisted that I pay for my stay in full up front. I had just arrived in Lima and said that I could pay her a bit later after I had the chance to go to town and have some currency exchanged - but looked quite annoyed. Sensing her annoyance, I asked if I could speak to someone else, she conferred with a colleague behind the counter area who I couldn't see and quickly came back and said that she was going to make an exception and allow me to pay by the next morning. Having stayed in quite a few places in Peru by this point, this was definitely unusual. When I was checking out, I asked if I could pay in sol. The reception lady then presented me with a much larger total than I was expecting! On booking.com, my total was in USD which I showed her. She told me that as per 'her boss' , they were using a much higher exchange rate in converting the USD to sol and hence the total. I thought that this was quite dishonest and behaviour that left a bad taste in ones mouth. It ruined the hotel-bit of my Lima experience. In the end, I opted to incur my bank charges and paid them the USD amount using my debit card. Beware of this practice at this hotel. Just to give you a balanced review, on a different occasion, there was a gent manning reception during the day who was so helpful when I asked him the best way to get to all the places I wanted to visit in Lima; he took time to explain things to me and even went out of the way to print out a map and make additional hand drawn directions to get to my destination.

DON'T GO!

The only good thing about the hotel was the restaurant guy who served us the first breakfast. Super nice and professional. And the fact that they have a breakfast box if you go early in the morning.

For the rest I DONT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. When we arrived we requested an early check in, which the lady said to be 10 dolares. I reconfirmed if it was only 10 dolares for the 3 of us, and the answer was yes -later we had to pay 30 dolares. There was humidity in the beedroom, the towels were ripped and the toilet and shower had a leack which mess up the whole floor everytime. There was also pigeon poop in the bathroom (??) The receptionist was one of the worst employee I have ever seen in my life.
