Centrally located. Like the location bc it’s not in the direct center with all the noise but one street away. Hotel probably used to be very nice but hasn’t seen an update in a long time. It’s all working just old. For the price we thought it was a good value!

Well located, very affordable hotel. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available in the Cantine. Staff is very helpful but only 1 of 5 people spoke English.
Everything looks a little dated, but nothing too bad.

Location location location. Perfect for exploring the historical center of the city and within a very short walk of the Teatro Amazonas and the plaza near it and a number of excellent restaurants and shops. We also had a room on the top floor with a balcony with a spectacular view of the city and the Amazon river and the sunset. The staff was very nice and helpful - although luckily I was with a friend who spoke Portuguese as I only speak English and Spanish. Google translate helps. The breakfast was extensive, with a lot of selections. There is a small rooftop swimming pool that we didn't try and a restaurant above that, that we also didn't try.
The hotel and its rooms have definitely seen far better days. It is pretty rundown. It has been kept clean but is in enough of a need of freshening up of paint, lighting, fixtures, public areas, etc. that it can look somewhat dirty. If it was any sort of older interesting architecture, you could get away with calling it faded glory and I do have a soft spot for hotels like that. But it is pretty non-descript, built to be more utilitarian than charming. But, all things considered, for the price I would stay here again because of the location.

Overall very run down. AC had poor performance. Needs urgent renovations.
