A delightful beachside hotel close to good facilities

Lanta Sand Resort & Spa struck the perfect balance between comfort, location and value. Our spacious plunge pool villa felt like a private retreat, while the thoughtful touches, such as the woven beach bags, added to the overall experience.
The beachfront setting, four swimming pools, affordable restaurant and day spa, and the beautifully maintained grounds made it easy to relax and unwind.
Above all, we appreciated how the resort offered quality resort facilities without the premium price tag, making it one of our favourite stays during our full-time travels.
There was very little to fault.

Very well maintained facilities and grounds, plenty to do around site. The restaurant serves food all day, and the sunset bar on the beachfront was excellent. The breakfast options were fantastic. Plenty of space by the pool and on the beachfront with beds overhanging the beach. Great for families. We booked an excursion via the hotel to go on a snorkelling trip which was a brilliant day out. Would highly recommend staying here.
Nothing to do with he hotel, but we went during the quiet rainy season (hardly experienced any rain). There weren’t many restaurants open within easy walking distance so no as much off-site choice as in the busy months. But we were aware of this from researching the trip.

Great beach and good location
The staff were friendly but unfortunately our room had a bad smell, was run down and the place didn’t seem clean at all. The hotel was poorly managed with regard to the facilities, services and maintenance.
