We had an incredible stay at Chapung Sebali. The location was simply breathtaking, and it provided us with the most stunning views. The food served at the hotel's restaurant was delicious, and the staff was extremely attentive, making us feel truly valued throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing experience. We were delighted with the overall service and amenities provided by the hotel. I love how peaceful and clean the place is. I love the friendly and always ready to assist staff. they made sure they have provided everything we need and asked. they well very helpful too pulling up my surprise birthday bouquet and cake for my mom. I love that they provide quality toiletries. I love their food at their restaurants too, we stayed for 4 days and I ordered almost everything in the menu and there was nothing we didn’t like. we also enjoyed blind pig bar at night, there was good live music and it was a perfect place to just chill and drink. i love how they make sure our villa was maintained cleaned everyday and they provide us sufficient water and fruits.
1. there was a little yellow stain on the toilet bowl. it wasn’t gross but it could have been cleaned better.
2. there were rats running in the ceiling at night and when we woke up we saw an empty pack of chocolate cookies on the floor. this is understandable because the property is in a jungle, we don’t mind. just letting you know because it might be bothering to other guests
3. villa 4 pool is too deep, my child couldn’t swim.

Everything was like a dream. You are in the middle of peaceful jungle ! Spectecular valley view , joyful pool, super friendly staff, amazing management (thanks Stephan for making our experience great) and delicious food at great hotel restaurants! Simply heaven! Chapung Sebali has been the best hotel experience I have ever had in my lifetime! I really wish to visit them again! Special thanks to Tana who took us a great Ubud trip ! He is the best guide& driver in Bali! Thank you all the Staff who made us feel like home! Hope to meet with you all again! Loads of love and greetings from Turkey!

the room doesnt have much lighting options, for me it was too dark inside and of course lots of stairs, my 60+ years old mum found it quite difficult to walk to the pool and restaurants

Very warm welcome, very friendly staff, nice and modern location not far with the hotel shuttle from Ubud, delicious food and a nice view from pool area. We will surely come again!!

Breakfast was phenomenal. If I’d wanted to, I could have made that my only meal of the day. And the resort was simply beautiful. My villa was amazing, with its own infinity pool and outdoor seating area. This was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Just really phenomenal!

The resort is stunning and maintained to an exceptional standard. The staff are helpful and attentive, and the food from the Jungle Fish restaurant is amazing! Breakfast is wonderful, and a particular highlight! Staying here was such a great experience.
Outside visitors coming for the day...considering the money you pay to stay, it loses exclusivity. I recommend the hotel reserve seating for resort guests to avoid disappointment in getting a table for lunch/dinner, we quite often had to sit in the sun because all other tables were occupied. Spa services were equally hard to book, luckily we were staying for 4 nights, and I had to reserve that far in advance to get a 2-hour massage!

Fantastic hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing (presentation, flavours, everything top). Location and views were stunning. This was one of the best hotels we have ever been to. We stayed in a private villa with pool, very spacious, very well maintained and designed with extraordinary view on the jungle. Don't have doubts, this hotel is expensive, but well worth the money.
The water in bathroom was warm but not hot. The shampoo / conditioner / shower gel could have been better. They also didn't tell us of all trips they have on offer. Small things, otherwise I would give 10/10.

The pool, the room and the jungle around the hotel
There’s nothing around the hotel, and the restaurant was missing some items of the menu, so very limited options.
There are too many ants, even inside the room and in the swimming pool, they need to do pest control more often.
I accidentally broke on soap bottle, and they charged me a totally nonsense amount.
The spa is good, but nothing special for the price.
The swimming pool is open for outsiders, if you don’t have a room with a private pool it will be probably very crowded.

we had booked a room with a plunge pool which was fantastic. one note I could make is that the water is not temperature controlled which makes it cold and not enjoyable all the time. but everything was perfect.

Exceptional food! Besides regular and sweet course for complimentary breakfast, we suggest to take 3 course dinner. It feels like being in a Michelin star restaurant! The area of the hotel is clean and neat, every day there are people working on something. Staff is amazing, everyone is smiling and willing to help. The view from villas is stunning- right into the jungle. And the facilities including villas- just amazing!
Pool area is open for public, so better book rest beds in advance. The pool is not suitable for small kids. However, for the smallest ones, they have a tiny pool nearby. Wifi is intermittently working and not working, very unstable. Well, and yes, it's expensive, but you can walk to a nearby restaurant (which offers wagyu steak btw) to get cheaper, but still good food.

Amazing hotel, cannot fault the property or staff! Tana was lovely and took us on a day trip to the rice fields and waterfalls, thank you again for making our stay that little bit better! All of the staff were extremely polite and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, including the floating breakfast! We will definitely visit again!
