Phenomenal location, easy to get to all the nearby villages and towns, and historical landmarks. Very relaxed and calm atmosphere. Great spacious duplex rooms. Clean and standard facilities. A few cafes dotted around within vicinity.
Lack of air on inside the room but you can open the window.

We had expected a kitchen in the room as that was in the hotel last year, we hadn't realised it had changed hands

Comfortable bed.
Car park secured at night.
Room was too hot. Air conditioning not advertised but non functional controls in the room. I complained about the non functional controls and the heat. Was advised to leave the patio door open at night.
Upon departure I mentioned the heat again and was asked if I'd requested a fan. It appears complaining about the heat in the room isn't enough to trigger the offer of a fan, you have to know (somehow) that you can request one.
