Friendly helpful staff, a good welcome, comfortable bed and great food. The location is fabulous with wonderful views across the countryside.
It was easy to find somewhere to park.
Our dinner on Saturday night was fantastic and really good value for money. We enjoyed breakfast too.
Overall the hotel was suitable for our needs and everything was well-priced.
The EV charger wasn't working and I had booked the hotel partly because it had one. I managed to find one in a carpark nearby the next day.
The TV in the room wasn't working although I didn't particularly want to watch anything.
Kings Croft Hotel is a very popular venue for events and not surprisingly there was a wedding party on the Saturday night we stayed there. It was therefore noisy until quite late. It might have been nice to have a room in a quieter part of the hotel if there is one.
The shower was very hot and it wasn't clear how to change the temperature.
None of these things detracted too much from our overall experience.

Well presented with plenty of Parkin. Tidy with no maintenance issues apparent. Breakfast served in a cool open space with a most pleasant waitress. Placed eggs best ever and crispy bacon too. However A teabag in a small cup makes a strong brew so experience would have been enhanced with small teapots
The rooms accessed by a warren of stairs which are narrow and cannot be avoided. Suitcases either in front or behind you. My double room was one of the smallest I’ve been in unable to reach shall window without standing on bed. Could not be changed Duvet was way too warm for summer and no alternative. Industrial sized fan with industrial noise. Just moved the hot air around the space . Could not sleep with it on
