Good location and good value for money

Good location - only 20 mins to Nordkapp and 10 mins to Honningsvag (which has a great bakery/cafe); kitchen was clean and well appointed; rooms clean and good size;

A good base to explore the area

The staff were fantastic - friendly and helpful. Rooms were basic but quiet and comfortable. Good to have a common room with kitchen facilities. A good, affordable base to explore further afield (you really need a car, though - not all that much in the immediate area). I have to admit, I thought Nordkapp would be overrated but it was definitely worth the detour and this was a great base from which to visit.

The WiFi was terrible. I couldn't get a signal at all in the room (though I had a SIM card so it wasn't a big deal for me).

Good, but not great

Good location for visiting Nordkapp. The room was of a decent size. We could get linen and towels despite not having asked for it beforehand. The camping has a laundry room.

The curtains could not be closed fully, so we had to improvise and put a blanket over the window to be able to sleep. The room is quite basic, but we expected that. The door doesn't close properly and makes a loud sound every time someone enters the building. Once we put a sock in the gap, it was fine. 😀 The bathroom ventilator is terribly loud. We complained to the staff who ignored us entirely. The neighbors were super loud one evening, but that's not the campsite's fault.

Wonderful location in Nordkapp

Location was wonderful. Surrounded by mountains and bits of waters. Only half an hour away from Nordkapp globe. Room was cosy and as pictured on the ads. Heated bathroom floor.

Carpeted floor in the room and drainage smell in bathroom.

The camping is located on the way to Nordkapp. The room was ok, clean, quite spacious and located in the same building as the shared kitchen. The kitchen was big with plenty of seats and clean.

When you take a shower the bathroom gets a bit wet.

very clean and comfortable common facilities

in our cabin besides bed (you can’t sit on it as the upper bunk is low) we only had an uncomfortable wooden bench inside. we really wanted to stay for longer, but it was impossible to enjoy the rainy evening or rest without laying down flat

Top service on the top of the world

Just amazing place on the way up north :) Cabins are cozy, warm and have everything You need. Also great views which worked for us great to snap some pictures of Auroras right in front of the cabin. The Owner is very kind, with lots of useful information and also ready to set up sauna for us :) I highly recommend and wish to be back soon.

It was a nice stay at the nordkapp camping!

It was a nice cabin with bath, kitchen, livingroom and two bedrooms. Perfect, with parking lot directly beside and a nice barbeque cabin, usage for free.

Great place to stay!

Very friendly host who gave us a lot of useful information on the area and on how to visit the Northcape. Great and quiet location with a nice view over the nearby lake and the river, we could see the reindeer grazing at our doorstep! The cabin was very comfortable and spacious and the kitchen fully equipped. Also pretty close to Honningsvåg (by car).

There was no hairdryer (which would have helped to stay warm after taking a shower, since it was pretty cold outside when we were there).

Very good

small but cozy cabin close to North Cape. it was perfect for me to finish my bike ride up there at the next day. The public kitchen is well equipped. The owner was really helpful and I could store my belongings at the reception while riding up to North Cape.

The small kitchen in the cabin had no dishes or anything so I was not able to use it. Bed linen and showers cost extra.

Good camping cabin with regard to the price

Small cottage ment for 4 people but I was alone so it went well. Rented towel and sheets at reception. At the reception you could buy small items but the selection was not large. Nice reception. The reception had limited opening hours. Good toilets. The shower was paid for with coins. Fairly large common dining room. Fantastic journey from Tromsö to the North Cape. Wonderful views all the time. Great for motorhome holidays. Very large distances for cyclists. Large conference facility and restaurant on the North Cape. It is best to fly to Tromsö then take a car, bike from there and see the large area. Watch out for the reindeers, they don´t yield. Sometimes the road was shortened by ferries.

Rented a cottage. There was a stove, microwave and fridge but nothing to cook in or to eat from. Had to go to the camping kitchen. There were also showers and toilets. I was surprised that there were no kitchen utensils in the cottage. In the common kitchen there were everything you needed but was shared with other campers.

Excellent location to visit Nordkapp island and to go to North Cape. The kitchen is well equipped, the cabin cosy and well isolated and the landscape beautiful!

Beds were super comfortable, the cabin is cosy.

You need to pay for hot water in the shower and this was not announced in the description. Problem is that you need coins for that, and by the time we arrived, the reception was closing, so no way to get coins. This should be announced in the description. No wifi in our cabin. Our cabin was very near the main road.
