It is perfectly located for exploring Nara. It is by the JR Nara train station and not the Kintetsu station.
The JR train station is the main line but you need a JR pass in order to use it. Everything is easily walkable so easy to get to regardless. And there are always taxis.

welcome drink sake can be picked up and taken to room. Room is clean and staff can be super helpful for information and organise your stay. Lift is always available and expect to wait only seconds even at peak time.
Pricing was at the higher end comparing with international branded four star hotels (I.e. about 2.5 times) for the same time in NARA. However, its location is second to none if you hold a JR pass. self-served laundry is a bit smaller than expected, and one out of three dryer was not in service. In addition, more efficient dryers are expected for guests.
