The hotel is beautifully positioned adjacent to the park, so watching the deer while enjoying a drink is easy. The rooms are absolutely fine with plenty of space, good views and are very clean.
My only disappointment is that they are trying too hard to be 'fancy'. The drinks menu at the bar area is very nice, but just far too select to the point of being minimal. No water in the room, you collect from a filter unit in the basement in a jug. There's a kettle but only matcha tea provided. Etc . It's just not my style at all, but may suit many people.

Room was great, breakfast was delicious, staff were super helpful! When I come back to Nara, I will be staying here again for sure.
