About this house rental
Located in Bellefonte, this attractive house for $250 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Only 9 miles from Penn State, this charming brick home in a friendly neighborhood on Halfmoon Hill overlooks the valley and beautiful Victorian downtown Bellefonte, PA, which features many restaurants and shops. You'll enjoy two bedrooms with a spacious full bathroom upstairs and a convenient half bathroom downstairs. There are queen beds in both bedrooms and the living room includes a futon sofa that quickly converts to a full bed. Amenities include a washer and dryer in the lower level, cable TV in living room and back bedroom, and wireless internet. The kitchen amenities include cooking utensils and tableware, coffee maker, microwave, and modern stainless finish appliances including an electric range/oven and spacious refrigerator/freezer. Hardwood and tile floors throughout, with radiator heating in each room, and powerful a/c units upstairs and downstairs if needed. Relaxing porches extend across front and back of the home with pleasant views. The home has a spacious back yard. House-trained pets are welcome (our little dog visits in the home often but not during rented weekends). Off-street parking in private lot is suitable for up to four cars. Check in as early as 9:00 AM on Friday or whenever is convenient. Check out as late as 5:00 PM on Sunday if needed. The home is a few miles off Interstate 99 near the I-80 intersection, and a short drive to PSU campus and Beaver Stadium. No smoking inside, please. Smokers may use the porches. One bedroom upstairs is locked, used by owners for owner storage. The home sleeps 6 people, but with your own portable bedding you could include several more people if necessary.

My husband and I could not have been happier with this lovely home. It was exceedingly clean, with lots of thoughtful extras provided. We had everything we needed for our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and great for walking our dogs. It was a nice easy ride to State College. We walked down to the shops in Bellefonte. Easy walk down, a little hilly on the way back! Thanks so much for all of your kindness.

Erik great host! Property was as advertised Very reasonably priced for pa state weekend and only 8 miles from
Downtown state college. Erik did and said everything about the house and it was then some. If you want to do a pa state weekend , you should rent Erik’s house

This property was perfect for a weekend getaway to the Happy Valley Region. My husband & I raced Ironman 70.3 Happy Valley & this home provided the comfort & space we needed to prepare for the race. In addition, it was centrally located to everything we needed. The home was clean, comfortable, & Erik was great to work with! We’ll definitely be staying here again.

The property and location were amazing! We were in town for our son's graduation. It was great to be able to enjoy all of the festivities at State College then come back to our own place away from the excitement. Our dog was very comfortable at the house and enjoyed walking going for walks in the neighborhood.

We absolutely loved this property! The house was very cute! It was in a nice neighborhood, just up the hill from downtown Bellefonte. The house was well appointed with all the items we could possibly need, and even some really nice extra touches that most places don’t provide. The owner Erik was very communicative, helpful, and responsive when I reached out to him. Great house and great experience!! Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The hose was charming and everything was clean and neat. Erik made sure we had everything we needed. They even left a “welcome” basket with snacks. We were close to Penn State where we attended an event. It was an easy drive into Bellefonte - if it was warmer we might have even walked. We would definitely go back.

Flashbacks of old Cumberland as the road ascended. While the parking across the street looked problematic, we had 0 problems getting out the whole weekend. Adorable old house, nicely decorated, a plus.
All we did was sleep there, so can't truthfully say to anything else.
Landlord was prompt to help access the door when I had problems. Would stay again, as was closer to State College than I expected.

We were in-town for Penn State Univ. Parents Weekend for the first time. The house was immaculately cleaned, was well furnished and was very comfortable. While Bellefonte is 10 miles from campus, it was a quick hop on highway 99 and a straight shot to campus.
After being on campus for parent activities, we found Bellefonte a lovely distraction with it's picturesque park and waterfall, and it's late 1800's historic downtown. There are a number o good restaurants in-town and frankly it was far less crowded than State College.
I would highly recommend our host Erik and his property. Erik was very responsive to any inquiries and provided good insights to local restaurants. For our next trip we will look to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our first visit to Bellefonte. It’s a cute town and an easy drive to State College. The best part was definitely this charming home. It was spotless, comfortable and has Everything you might have forgotten. Will try to stay here again for a Penn State game next year.

We stayed at this VRBO while moving my son into Penn State for fall semester. The location is great, and the town of Bellefonte has so many great spots and restaurants (I was pleasantly surprised). The home is absolutely spotless and very comfortable. Thank you!

Loved this house and location for a weekend getaway with the grandkids. They had fun in the back yard and on the back porch. Evening views over the mountains were beautiful. Short drive to Penns Cave which was a great excursion.

I stayed at this property for Arts Fest Weekend with my daughter and two friends. This home was more perfect that I imagined. The house was super clean and had everything we needed and more. Erik even left snacks! The town of Bellefonte was very cute. We went down to the park and walked to a coffee shop and pizza shop in town. It was nice to be so close to Penn State, but away from town. I loved sitting on the back porch in the morning with my coffee. Very peaceful.

My family stayed at this home for our daughter's PSU graduation weekend. The home is absolutely adorable, well organized, very clean and extremely well provisioned. The weather for the first 2 days was extremely rainy so we stayed inside the home and had our meals here. The kitchen had every amenity we needed for our meals. Erik was a wonderful host and was very prompt in answering any questions we had. The back and front porches were so nice for sitting outside without being impacted by the elements. The bedrooms were a good size and the bathrooms had all the necessary items we needed (shampoo, hairdryer, towels, etc) without having to pack those for travel. Having the ability to check in earlier/leave later during the weekends was a huge benefit as we had family coming/going at different times. We will definitely be back. It was a perfect place for our family. GO STATE!

Very nice place. Well supplied and equipped. Ended up just being two of us instead of six. I meant to send you a message when we vacated the place but I got busy will final loading for the move.

Needs more or at least, readily accessible outlets in the bedrooms.
Half and Half is old - they've solidified.
WiFi password is incorrect. Password is all lower case.

We had a terrific weekend in Bellefonte, the house was perfect for what we needed. It was very clean and well kept. Erik was available by text and very responsive. We cooked at the house for most meals and we were happy to find the kitchen was well stocked with the necessary cooking items (pots, pans, knives, etc). There was even a binder with some favorite recipes 😊
We walked into town both mornings and visited the coffee shop and park. A nice town with friendly people. We definitely recommend this house and hope to return again.

This home does not disappoint, it is charming, cozy close to everything, and immaculately clean. Erik was great at communicating and we actually never left Bellafonte, it is such a great community with great food, breweries, distilleries and cideries, and great shopping. We will definitely be staying again..

We loved this house. Bellefonte is a cute little town that we enjoyed walking around. It was a quick 15 minute drive to Penn state. The house is immaculate and has everything you could possibly need. Plenty of towels for showering and dishes for eating. The front porch is awesome to sit with coffee in the morning. The owner was great with communication. Would definitely stay here again.

We fully enjoyed our weekend away! The little added touches made us feel completely welcome. My best friend, 2 children and the family dog had plenty of space, great backyard to play and wonderful views. We took many walks into town, however the hill coming back to the house not be for everyone. All 4 of us want to stay again in the very near future. Thank you again!!
