Our room was huge - plenty of space for three of us and room to sort out our hiking equipment. Room was very clean and comfortable with a great bathroom. Breakfast was one of the best we have experienced, lots of choice and all super-fresh. Staff were amazingly helpful both for our stay at the hotel and knowledge of the local area.
The only thing we would request would be the ability to make hot drinks in the room. There is a common room and basic kitchen in the hotel that we could’ve used, if we’d brought our own makings.

Nette Pension im Ortskern von Matrei.
Zimmer war sehr groß. Frühstück wurde im gegenüberliegenden angeboten und war sehr gut.

Gastehaus Obwexer was located in the middle of town. The property manager was hospitable and accommodating. Excellent breakfast and overall, a good value.
Fairly spartan room but it easily met our expectations.
