Η τοποθεσία και θέα ήταν καταπληκτική. Υπέροχη και η κοντινή θάλασσα τόσο το οργανωμένο κομμάτι της όσο και το ελεύθερο και κυρίως υπήρχε και ναυαγοσώστης. Στο hotel και η πισίνα καλή και το προσωπικό ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικο και το πρωινό ικανοποιητικό και κυρίως η καθαριότητα. Η συμπεριφορά και η εξυπηρέτηση και οι πληροφορίες του προσωπικού και κυρίως της κυρίας Βικης ήταν χρήσιμες και αξιόλογες. Σίγουρα εάν ξαναπήγαινα σε αυτές τις περιοχές μόνο σε αυτό το ξενοδοχείο θα ήθελα να μείνω....
Ένα φρεσκάρισμα ίσως χρειάζεται αλλά από αυτά που συζήτησα είναι κάτι που βρίσκεται στα άμεσα σχέδια της επιχείρησης. Πάντως και αυτό να μην γίνει όλα ήταν τέλεια για τα δικά μου γούστα και τις απαιτήσεις μου για τις διακοπές μου.

My family and I booked this hotel for two weeks and had a lovely time. It's an old school family-run hotel that did see its heyday some decades ago but remains a respectable destination for budget travelers like us, a step or two up from a backpackers' hotel. Maybe the most telling detail from our two week stay was that in all that time we only met a single non-Greek couple, adorable German newlyweds who were no doubt also on a budget. The Greek clientele trended older, suggesting generational loyalties. The family our children played with was an extended family of uncles, aunts, and cousins -- same thing. The place had that feeling you get from certain pubs that are happy for your custom but are not going out of their way to cater to you, since their client base is local. I could see how that might be a problem for some travelers, but for me it just added to the authenticity. The location moreover was absolutely spectacular. We could not get over the views from our rooms. The maids did a conscientious job of changing our sheets and towels every morning. We got around fine without a car, renting a bicycle that in ten minutes could whisk us into Kardmili, a picture perfect town with lots of touristy shops and cafes.
I was apprehensive about this booking because it required payment in advance and the reviews were so mixed -- although in retrospect, as I'm hinting above, the bad reviews seem to come from people expecting a five-star experience from a three-star hotel. The saltwater pool was great but did have an unusually large number of restrictions, including three hours closed in mid-afternoon for some reason. The hotel was not actually on the beach, but rather a short walk from the beach, which like most beaches in Greece was pebbly, with sand only in the upper reaches. The nearest all-sand beach was 7 km away in Stoupa, but was overrun with tourists -- so we actually preferred our Ritsa beach more.

Good location, nice pool, available parking spot, pleasant people.
Very few umbrellas at the pool and the bathroom shower was so tiny I could barely wash myself.
