It's a conveniently placed camping ground on the west coast. It's close enough to beaches if you bike or you have a car. It's simple, not many amenities, but we only stayed one night so it's not like we had much time to explore. The location was quiet and main road traffic wasn't heard from the campground. We couldn't check in for nearly 2 hours after our arrival (and after earliest check in time), but the staff were kind enough to allow us to check out late the next day without any charge.
We were checked in late, as the camper wasn't ready on our arrival, so we had to wait for nearly 2 hours until we could check in. Not a great experience when you're tired and it messed up our plans a bit. Due to this, there was still strong smell of chlorine/cleaner in the camper and the floors were still wet.
The camping ground does seem to be a bit outdated and the prices for losing a card seem a bit absurd (25 euro for a simple plastic card). We've been told we need those cards with us at any time within the campgrounds as staff will ask for them as identification.
