About this house rental
Nestled in Franklin, this charming house for $244 per night is a great option for your next trip. Relax in the immaculate, private Blue Loon Lake House and enjoy all that Webster Lake has to offer. This home features lake living at its best with incredible lake themed updates and comfortable accommodations. Enjoy swimming, fishing, kayaking, boating, water sports, skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling or simply relax at the waters edge. Nearby, take advantage of Central NH's hiking and biking trails, Ski resorts, shopping and fine dining. This home has been recently updated with fun and unique lake themed design elements including a paddle railing and a wicked cool rope & boat cleat stairway; includes a modern, fully stocked kitchen, a comfortable living room with an American Leather Sofa that has a queen pull out mattress; one bath, two bedrooms, one with a king sized bed and one with two twin XL beds; washer and dryer, AC, WiFi, Smart TV, Wii, board games, bath and beach towels, linens and fluffy pillows and a pack-n-play. Outside, enjoy the large deck overlooking the water or relax on the patio. Take in the breathtaking sunrises while sipping coffee, walk down the few steps to the dock and dangle your feet in the water, slip the kayaks into the lake and explore the island or hop in your boat to tour the 606 acres of crystal clear water. Boat can be tied up directly to the 20 foot dock; includes gas BBQ grill, gas fire pit, 2 kayaks, life jackets, fishing gear, picnic table and outdoor seating, sun awning, floats and assorted water toys. (The dock is only in the water from Memorial Day until Columbus Day) Catch a glimpse of the wildlife that call Webster Lake home, including Loons, Ducks, Eagles, Osprey and Heron or go fishing for the many species of fish including large and small mouth bass, yellow and white perch, pickerel and rainbow and brown trout. Franklin is home to the Winnipesaukee, Pemigewasset and Merrimack Rivers which also offer great fishing and recreational opportunities. In the fall, enjoy the spectacular colors reflected on the Lake and the peace that comes after a busy summer. Paddle through calm waters in the kayaks and enjoy the beautiful fall colors. In the evening, listen to the call of the Loons as you sit by the fire pit on a crisp evening. In the winter, take advantage of the snowmobiling just outside your cozy lake house or bring snowshoes to explore the lake and nearby trails. Come back in the evening and snuggle up by the gas fireplace. Blue Loon Lake House offers off street parking for 2 vehicles (trailer parking available upon request). Please Note: We do not allow guests on the property at any time. Only those individuals listed in the original booking (up to 6) are to be on the property. There may be exceptions to this if you reach out prior to booking but will be approved on a case by case basis. Webster Lake is located in Central NH, 100 miles north of Boston and less than an hour to the White Mountains. The area consists of charming New England towns, the Northern Rail trail groomed for hiking, biking and snowmobiling and of course, the beautiful Lakes Region. The Tanger Outlets are 20 minutes away in Tilton, NH and the region boasts a number of great dining options, golf courses and mountain and cross country skiing. No matter what the season or activity, Blue Loon Lake House has everything you need to enjoy a wonderful family vacation on the lake! Blue Loon Lake House is a great place to spend time. We love boating, fishing, going out to eat, walking the local towns and seeing what we can see. It's a great home base and Webster Lake is a nice quiet lake.

My husband, teenage son, and I stayed here for a long weekend getaway. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We really appreciated the gas fireplace which made our stay very cozy. The view of the lake is just wonderful and seeing the sunrise from our bedroom window was awesome. Joni and Randal were great hosts and very responsive in email/text communications. We would love to go back in warmer weather so we can get out on the lake!

We had a great time on the property, everything was as it looked in the listing and the owners (who live next door) we’re extremely friendly and accommodating! Honestly, we can’t wait to go back! It’s right around the corner from our family’s local home so it makes visits incredibly easy on us. While we didn’t spend a lot of actual time at the property, we enjoyed the time we were there and found all the amenities to be up to date and more than what we expected! 5/5 really couldn’t recommend more. If you’re in the area this is the place to stay.

The lake house was wonderful. The kitchen was well equipped and the views are spectacular. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. There were many good dinning options nearby.

We stayed for 2 weeks in October—peak leaf season. The cabin is right on Webster Lake and although compact included everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We particularly enjoyed the sunrise over the lake view from the bedroom.
A couple of caveats: taller men will have to watch their headroom. The open loft and railings are probably not suited to young children.

We enjoyed our second trip to Blue Lion cottage just as much! We love being right on the water and really enjoyed the kayaks and floats. The water squirter are always a huge hit with the kids! We find fun new details in the decor each time we come. Thank you!

We arrived for our week-long vacation and were immediately taken aback by the cleanliness and thoughtfulness in "The Blue Loon". The hosts left us some snacks and water and a pink inflatable tube for our daughter!
The house was very well appointed and covered everything, including appropriate kitchenware, Netflix, mini splits (that work great), and boardgames. Uno is a favorite.
There's a little sandy beach-like area accessible by steps from the dock or from the deck. The water was clear and warm enough to still provide a respite from the heat without freezing you to the bone. I could have stayed in it for hours.
Water accessories were provided (lifejackets and such), and the gas fire pit was great for s'mores.
The owners stayed in contact in case we needed anything and provided area information for us, e.g. restaurant recs, grocery info, etc.
We loved our stay and will be returning next year!

We had such a great stay at this lake house. The owners thought of every detail and our visit was perfect. We spent most of our time swimming, relaxing, and enjoying the peaceful lake. Our kids loved the kayaks, stand up paddle boards and the Wii!! Thank you for a great few days away!!

Wonderful week
This was the perfect spot for a week away. The cottage was immaculate and the perfect size for me, my wife and our 7 year old. The lake was crystal clear and great for swimming and fishing. And we loved that it was literally steps away. We are hoping to be back soon

This stunning location was a perfect home base for my family while they attended my daughter’s wedding down the road. The house was pristine and provided everything they needed. They enjoyed the beautiful views from the moment they woke up, while doing yoga on the deck, and from the kayaks on the lake.

Impeccably clean, thoughtfully appointed, well stocked with kitchen utensils and supplies for everyday need. Joni and Randall were great as hosts, there when needed and great communication. It was almost just like being at home.
This is a great lake for boating, fishing, etc... Very quiet lake, there was not a lot of other boating activity and somehow the weather was almost perfect. The dock was super convenient for the boat and swimming. No gross muck when you walk into the lake either.

Gorgeous property!
We had an amazing long weekend. The house more than lived up to expectations. We loved being right on the lake and enjoyed the kayaks, floats, and gas fire-pit. Even the rain couldn’t get us down as we made use of the card/board games and the wii. Thank you for sharing your cottage!

A magical location
We loved our stay. The location cannot get any better. And the pictures? They are great, but still don't do it justice. Joni and Randy have provided the perfect getaway spot. Every single detail is perfect -- even down to labeling the light switches! We had one reason to reach out, and communication with Joni and Randy was prompt and friendly. Our one issue was resolved within minutes, and the highlight of that was getting to meet Randy and learning more about the area and the property. We will absolutely be back.

We loved the lake theme of the home with all the beautiful pictures and furnishings. Also, there are lots of board games for the kids and a wii system. The view of the lake was truly outstanding! Gorgeous lake house, beautifully appointed
I celebrated my birthday at the Blue Loon with a close friend and it was a spectacular time. The house was easy to find and once you do, you won't want to leave. Joni and Randy appointments the house beautifully and while small , it had everything we needed for a great stay. The beds are very comfortable and the fresh air and lake views are unbeatable.

We just had the most amazing vacation! The Blue Loon exceeded our expectations and we had a most memorable time! The kayaking and fishing, family time just amazing! We felt like we were in our own home. Joni and Randall did such an amazing job of providing us with everything g we needed for a family memories!!! The kids want to make this trip a new family tradition and I think that’s a great idea!! Can’t wait until next time!
