About this cottage rental
Situated in Franklin, this charming cottage for $164 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Looking for peace and quiet for your NH vacation? We have it here at Pemi Shore Cottages. I have a completely furnished private 2bd/1ba cottage not far from water on a wooded hill with a great view. We call it the 'Tree House Cottage'. Has stairs to come down to the beach or you can drive down. This cottage has full-size beds, gas heat, flat-screen cable TV, Wi-Fi internet, AC, microwave, outdoor grill, outdoor fireplace, and access to our 90 foot private beach and boat ramp. There's also a row boat, kayak, and paddle boat for you to use, no charge. Pets are very welcome, 2 per cottage included, and dog sitting may be available (ask us!). You are encouraged to bring linens and towels but we can provide them for $15 at check-in. In return, no cleaning fee! Great fishing, water skiing and swimming on the Pemigewasset River in a secluded location without all the tourists! Extremely private. Close to the Franklin Falls dam and its 3900 acres of scenic trails! Only 4 miles from Rt. 93 (exit 22), 2 miles to grocery stores and only 6 miles to the popular Tanger outlet stores in Tilton. This was an awesome place to stay and unwind. John was a great host and helped us get settled in quickly. It was nice that he provided a boat, kayak, and paddle boat to enjoy the river with. This location is very quiet and relaxing. All the conveniences of a small town are just a short easy drive away. I would recommend this vacation spot to anyone.

Only possible negatives were the access to the water wasn't the best and the wifi was inconsistent but it is a nice getaway and I would stay here again. The grill and hammock were nice and the cottage was a fine roof over our heads. The owners and neighbors seem like fine people too.

Cute cabin up on a hill with a walk to the beach area. We had access to a row boat which we used for fishing. Disappointed no dock to fish off of. Would recommend to bring your own boat or kayak. The water was warm with a small sandy beach

We had a great stay. We came in late for checkin and John was very accommodating. The property was gorgeous and the checkin/checkout process was very straightforward. Beach was beautiful and cabin was clean and functional.

We loved the property - great view, lots of privacy. My only negatives are, the house could have been cleaner (previous guest's hair all over the shower, yuck) and I kind of felt like I was a bad guest because I didn't bring my own bed sheets and towels. Who travels with that? However, if I lower my expectations a bit, I would stay there again.

Great cabin, perfect for what we needed. Quiet, cozy, great view of the river, short drive to shopping if needed. Nice area to explore, we went to Newfound Lake and Meredith during our stay. John was very accommodating, and is a bonus that they allow dogs!

We stayed in treetop cabin, private location with easy access to river for tubing and relaxing. Cottage was as advertised with all you need for a weekend family get away including grill, fire pit and outdoor deck and hammock! Pet friendly a plus!

Cabin was clean and well equipment with pans and utensils. When you ask for wood for fire pit, they are right on top of things. Nice shady spot for our cabin. Will definitely rent it again and let people know about the cabin.

Lovely property. Private and beautiful spot on the river. John was a gracious host and we had an amazing tour of the river on his pontoon boat.

the welcome by John was perfect. He explained everything in his gite and he suggested activities and restaurants. the cottage is very good, it's quiet and it was perfect for me who was going mountain biking Highland bike park. My dog had room to run, there is a nice hammock to relax. it was perfect.

We would love to come back for a couple of nights in the fall. First trip to the area & first trip with 2 dogs so it was an experience. Weather was alittle too cold to enjoy the lake but loved the Franklin Dam for our daily walks.

The “tree house” was very nice, had beautiful views of the water and the dam, and the perfect place to get away with our dogs. Would love to take more advantage of beach next time. John was a great host!

Super cozy great little cabin, our own private deck our own area with picnic table grill fire permit. Stairs to go down to the river little beach on the river with floaty devices kids had a blast dog even went swimming! Everything you needed in the kitchen pots pans plates! It was a little home away from home! We loved it we will definitely be back!

Cute comfortable cabin in the woods on a river! Owners were very accommodating, friendly and care about their guests. They were always there to let us know what was going on, and when we could catch a boat ride with them! We will definitely be back!

The "Tree-house" cottage was perfect! The views over morning coffee, were amazing. The cottage was clean, cozy and had a well-equipped kitchen. We enjoyed swimming everyday. John and Jane took us out on the boat near the end of our stay and told us some really interesting facts about the area. Our dog had a fabulous time and she was so welcomed there. Can't wait come back!

Traveled out of state for a concert. John was very welcoming! Definitely was an enjoyable stay. Beds were comfortable, and cottage had pretty much everything we needed except groceries! Will definitely revisit when in the area again.

A great getaway!
Cozy quiet cottage in the woods with nice views of the river. The cabin had everything we needed for a quiet/relaxing vacation. It was nice to be able to bring our dog. Lots of places locally to hike. My only disappointment was not having a kayak available to use on the river.

Another fantastic stay at the cottage!
We have been planning vacations at this cottage for a few years now. We often mountain bike at Highland Mountain Bike Park and enjoy the beautiful lake also. The cottage is located close to town, and it's stocked with everything you need for a peaceful vacation. The host is wonderful and is always very accommodating. We'll be back again!

Great location property had everything we needed. The owner was nearby if we needed anything. We bought some firewood from him and John took us for a ride on hid pontoon boat. Would highly recommend this place.
