Hello, I hope you are well. I would like to report what happened during my visit to your rental branch and request a resolution to my case. I had a reservation for an Audi Q3. When I arrived, I was informed that my reservation would only start the following day and that, if I wanted to collect the vehicle immediately, I would have to pay an additional fee. The amount requested was extremely high, almost equivalent to the total cost of my ten-day reservation. The employee started processing the payment using my debit card. My card had already been inserted into the payment terminal, and I was about to enter my PIN to complete the transaction. At no point was I told that debit cards were not accepted. I chose not to complete the payment solely because I considered the amount excessive. I then asked for that transaction to be canceled so that I could make a new reservation. After the staff change, another employee informed me that I could not collect the vehicle because my card was a debit card rather than a credit card. This directly contradicts the earlier interaction, during which the first employee had already started processing the payment with that same debit card. As a result, I was forced to rent a different vehicle under different conditions, while amounts relating to reservations I never used remain charged or blocked. I respectfully request a refund of all amounts related to the unused reservations and a prompt resolution to this matter. I believe this issue can be resolved amicably. However, if a satisfactory solution cannot be reached, I will pursue the appropriate legal remedies to protect my rights. I also request that the CCTV footage, from the branch be preserved, as it records the entire interaction, including the attempted payment with my debit card, and may be rel- relevant evidence regarding the events described above.
