The most wonderfully relaxing stay - with the BEST host & delicious food! Recommend!!

Quiet, beautiful views & spacious! Fantastic to have a pool in such a hot area too.

There is nothing I didn’t like about the property! I would advise having a car (there is ample parking spaces) or at the very least a bike, to make getting around easier.

It was a blessing to have found this place, especially traveling for the first time to CR.

I thought the location was beautiful and with an amazing view. It was close to where I needed to be and to get daily essentials. Soothing breeze when sitting outside by the pool area. Plenty of local restaurants near by. Breakfast was phenomenal. The hostess, Lucy, is a blessing. Such an amazing Manager and hostess. She genuinely takes care of you and provides exceptional services.

The owner was so friendly and helpful. In a great location. The pool was much needed in the heat and the room had everything you would need. Would love to have stayed longer

I left the BIG BAMBOO experience so satisfied. Looking for a repeat.

All meals were creative and exceptional. The flavors and combinations were exquisite. The meals were a highlight of our stay and alone worth the stay.Lucy, the hostess is a doll.

I liked everything! Food, room, hostess and ambience.

Heaven in Uvita

Pool was super clean. Rooms comfy, spacious, basic but everything you need including hot shower. Restaurant offered the most delicious food we’ve eaten in Costa Rica! Breakfast was awesome. French toast delectable. Great dinner choices, fresh food made with love by Lucy. Great conversation. Service by Haley was excellent. We are going back this trip. I can’t say enough positive things about this place.

Pleasant

The balcony and view! Clean and friendly. We were able to get drinks and deliveries! Despite all my negative comments, it was generally a very nice place and we had a pleasant enough time there.

Having chosen this place specifically because of the very good food reviews, we were very disappointed to find there was no cook when we got there. No pre-warning was given and only limited breakfast was available. The bed set up was also challenging - the main king bed was so tall you had to climb up onto it, and there was no room to access one side of it because another single bed had been squeezed in right next to it. There were only very bright overhead lights and very little space to put anything on (except the floor, which you couldn't reach!). The shower was either on or off, with no temperature control (it was actually too hot!)

Wonderful!

Lucy is the best cook on earth and soooo awesome and caring! The pool is also very nice and the rooms have A/C and have enough space. Everything was great!

Delicious and Fun

Lucy is a wonderful host and an incredible cook. Be sure to experience some of her delicious meals. ThIs small hotel is clean and well kept and provides plenty of personal information, touring details and great conversations. Beautiful view from the open air restaurant. We would definitely stay here again.
