Overall, a very decent place to stay. A 10 minute or so walk to the beginning of the shopping centre and so whilst not a short walk, definitely not far and if you want a night where you can all have a couple of drinks (and so nobody needs to drive), then the walk home is not bad at all. About a 10 minute walk to the Lake as well. Roomy, well fitted out kitchen with washing machine and dryer; TV and good heating. Heated bathroom floor!

Good communication from property management on where to collect keys and hours of operation.
The dryer was broken so we couldn’t wash and dry clothes as planned. Electric blankets, most were broken and at least 1 bedroom wall heater was broken.

This 2 bedroom apartment suited us well for 3 adult family members. It was modern and had all of the ‘extras’ that made a 5 day stay seem more like home. It is well located - within a couple of blocks of the city Centre, lake, parks and walking tracks - far enough away to be out of the immediate city hustle. It is walkable to all local attractions - having the convenience of a car allowed visits further afield.

The location is approx a 10-15min walk into Wanaka town and just under a 10min walk to the lake front. I think if you just needed a couple of nights to stay somewhere with a kitchen and wanted somewhere a bit nicer than a motel, this is probably the place for you.
We stayed for 4 nights. The check in process was easy enough, you pick the keys up from a different accommodation place. Having a near full kitchen was nice. The lounge area was spacious as was the room and walk in wardrobe. The bathroom was of adequate size also. Kitchen had all the basic utensils required as well as a medium sized fridge with a proper freezer compartment. There is no dish washer in the upstairs apartment.
There are no set car parks for each apartment so it's first in first serve, there are plenty of street parks though.
We had an upstairs apartment. The base of the stairs had a door that led to the downstairs apartment. Although it was locked, it felt a bit strange and insecure.
It also meant that you could smell whatever food they were eating, we experienced an unpleasant odour of greasy fish and chips on our first night.
The apartment appeared nice on surface level however small things made it lacking in the overall ambiance of the accommodation, especially given how much it costed (approximately $290/night when we stayed). I would have expected things like facial tissues and for the ceiling of the bathroom to be cleaned (it was a low ceiling and was dotted with dead gnats). Due to the style of shower drain, it meant each morning, there would be a stale water smell from it. Thankfully the bathroom had a good working extractor fan and window which we put to use to prevent any smells from getting worse.
The beds we found to be very soft as well.
