The location is amazing, though the little track through the forest can be a bit daunting to drive through. That said, the little clearing in the forest is nothing short of idyllic, as are the surrounding woods. Property itself is very basic and e.g. the kitchen is straight from the 1900s, but that does add to the appeal. Contact with the owner was smooth. Do expect extra costs for cleaning (EUR60) and electricity (EUR0.65/kWh), as well as a deposit of EUR200.
The property clearly needs some renovations/deep cleaning. There were cobwebs/dust bunnies everywhere, and some walls had black mold on them, which also gave the property a bit of a stale smell. Nothing some airing out couldn't resolve, but it does say something about the general state. The beds were OK, but some of them really need a new mattress.
