Location is perfect and very authentic. The owner is a good man who helped with our transfer issues for a reasonable price

Muhammad was such a gentleman who helped me with everything I needed. Full of recommendations and tips. Almost a shame that after 23 years he's wrapping up here to live in London - keep an eye out for his sandwich shop in Holborn! The beds and rooms were very comfortable and clean, I slept so well, I was so impressed given how close it is to the hustle and bustle of the busy shopping area.
I had unwanted sexual advances from my roommate (waking me up to ask if I wanted to sleep with him) and Muhammad very kindly offered for me to change rooms. I was able to manage the other guest myself and he moved himself to another room after that.

Dormitory at fourth floor with no elevators or stairs could be better.

Good location, comfortable beds.
It seemes way past its good years, there were unpacked boxes in the downstairs bar/common area, scattered ashtray and other things on the upper balcony, mold in the bathroom ... I've sleept/showered in some questionable places in the past and this still felt super uncomfortable, especially due to a mismatch with expectations. Based on prior comments, I assume the owners might have recently changed and the place is very much different from the picture painted from the photos and older reviews.
