Location for walking the fisherman's trail is good. Good well equipped shared bathroom. It's an ok place to stay ONE night given the low price.

The TV was not working but was fixed by the host eventually. The internet was so bad I just ended up using my data. As others have mentioned, it's a strange setup when you enter the house you have to go thru the hosts part of the house. Not sure how others have given this place a 10. I question the authenticity of those ratings. My next stay at Casa da Estela was the same cost and it was so much better.

Odd

It was right on the Fisherman’s trail coming in and out of town, so that was handy, and very convenient to a few cafes, the market, pharmacy, etc. It was a nice big bedroom and a well appointed bathroom. I was able to self check-in with the key box.

I saw no one, it was odd and creepy. The downstairs is apparently the owner’s area, with a cluttered living room and kitchen and some closed doors. The room was upstairs next to a second room which I believe I was sharing the bathroom with. I have no idea who the owner was, never saw them, and only briefly saw a man who was using the bathroom off my room. It was unsettling and I wasn’t entirely comfortable with the arrangement. I don’t know who I was messaging with the few times, my luggage transfer seemed to be familiar at least, but it was the only place along the 12 days I wasn’t happy leaving my luggage and walking away. I would like to have had a better understanding who else was sleeping there - or if I was alone.

Located on Fisherman's Trail

Good place to stopover for the night whilst walking the Fisherman's Trail. Bed was comfy, plenty of hot water. Lidl ten minute walk from the property.

Unfortunately somebody left their key in the inside lock and so we could not get in. We were left outside of the property for 2 hrs waiting for the host to turn up, which was not ideal after a long days walk! ☹️

Perfect location, you can walk everywhere in Vila do Bispo, and also very near from Raposeira. Reasonable priced comparing to what is on the market here. Owner was very accomodating and flexible. I booked 1 night and ended up staying 3... Because it felt like home!

Large spacious room with a fridge. Central but quiet location. Easy check-in. Comfortable bed. All clean and tidy. Ideal for a night stopover whilst walking the Rota Vicentina.

Cozy place on rota vicentina

The room was spacious, had all the necessary amenities and a lovely balcony. The bathroom and the room take the first floor so it was private and quiet. It's also pretty much on the fisherman trail coming in from Carrapateira and going to São Vicente, and close to supermarkets and the main square. I appreciated the check in through code too, made it so much easier given i had an early check in.

The room was very simple but comfortable and quiet, it was just what you need for an overnight stay, no fuss no mess. The owner was very nice and practical and I could check in a lot earlier which was great!
